The box in the corner of the room caught my eye again. I know I have always wanted to do this, but am I ready to take my mind back to my past. I think it over a few times, yes. I grab a pen off my desk and kneel over the amazon box. I open it to reveal the most beautiful notebook. I took it over to my bed where I lay down, I started to write...

Hey there it's Bella. I'm currently sat on my bed in my family's London mansion. My life has changed a lot in the past few years. I have been through highs and many lows. Some of the worst lows in my life.
Let's start at the very beginning. I was born in Somerset, England. I never knew who my dad was. I had a brother, Louis, who was four years older than me. He loved me and protected me. I think my mother loved me, she was quite distant though.
One day when I was seven, my mum told me and my brother, she was going out to get some milk. She told us to look after each other and always be brave, she then gave us both a huge hug. "You are only going to get milk?" I asked. She nodded and rubbed her eyes. She picked up her bag and the door shut.
Me and my brother immediately ran to the snacks cupboard. I had just got myself stuck into a bag of crisps when Louis told me to hurry, "Mum will be back soon." He said. We were sat there for three hours, four, five, six. There was no sign of her. We eventually went to bed at one that night.
We were young and stupid, we didn't call anyone, we just stayed there. Eventually Monday rolled around. Louis told me to just walk to school and act like everything was fine. I did. When I got home that evening, Louis had bought dinner with one of mums old cards.
We lived like this for four years until one day the card was declined. From then on, I didn't go food shopping anymore. Louis went out on his own, he started off coming back with food, he then started to come back with watches and jewellery. One day, Louis didn't come back.
I was starving and got excited when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it and a young blonde woman with sad blue eyes was stood there. "Sorry I don't want to buy anything." I said and started shutting the door.
"Bella." The woman started. I immediately stopped in my tracks and looked up at her. She was very pretty but she worried me. "How do you know my name?" I asked starting to get worried. "I'm Holly." She said and attempted to smile. "Do you mind if I come In?" I gulped and opened the door. Louis always told me to act like we have nothing to hide. He told me to always tell visitors mum would be home soon, so I did. Holly shook her head "You haven't seen your mum since you were seven." I gasped.
"How do you know?" I asked. She continued to talk.
"Your mother left you four years ago, when you were seven and your brother was eleven." She then stopped when she saw the worry in my eyes.
"What's happened, how do you know this?" I asked tears coming through. Holly put her hand on my shoulder. "Your brother has just been arrested for bank robbery, I'm here to take you to a safe place." At that moment i broke down. My life was over. I was instructed to go upstairs and pack a bag. I cried as I did it. I then came outside and got into Holly's car.
She took me to the police station where I got to say a final goodbye to my brother. He didn't look upset. He just told me to be brave. He left me in tears. Holly put her arm round me and I was taken back to the car.
You may think that this story sounds bad, it gets a lot worse. I was taken to a children's home for about a month. One day Holly, who I soon found out was my social worker, had found me a foster family. I was excited to get out. I was introduced to a young couple called Chloe and Mike.

I then took my pen off the page instantly, I could hear footsteps approaching.
