Journal entree number 20: Date: September 20th, 2017
Since my writings are starting to come to a close, I figured I would save the best (and worst) part for last.
The worst part about having a secret is that when it becomes too overwhelming or too troublesome, you can't just forget about it or erase it from your mind.
The biggest burden you can carry are secrets. Some people think it's easy to do so. Others have to bite down on their tongues just to keep quiet. The secrets that you aren't supposed to share with anyone are the worst to keep to yourself. And the secrets that you are forced to keep, whether they be to protect you or the people you care about, are the worst type of burdens.
The truth is that I have way too many secrets. I've always kept them to myself. I guess it was because I never trusted anyone enough to tell them. The first secret I ever kept was from you, Adrien.
