Life is a lovely lie.
A lie that rolls of our tongues and slips through our butter fingers effortlessly
A truth we hold dear kissing it with pale purple yellow lips
A hard earn that might last as long as now or as long as ever.
For the longest I've lived grateful for it.
Grateful for the series of consequences of decisions my impulses decided.
The lovely lie.
For sinned I have and so explains you.
Deepest regret and greatest joy all at one.
Cursing on a sunday and cheating and lying.
Frivolous desires fought for
Between the lines rebellions stormed within the human silhouette.
One of the hearts that beat to the rhythms of challenge
That fills the thick red to shades across the spectrum of ecstasy.
Harder against the tiled wall and marbled floor.
Resting and riding under the dark night sky with scattered across twinkling stars
And flickering lights of hope.
Recklessness and coloured-hair streaks with naval piercings
Fierce and raging flames of the forest fire within my hair
A muddle of sweet and three dashes of bitter on the rocks and another shot of whiskey.
Estranged sweat soaked nudes caught in the heat of the moment
And perform theatricals under influences
Moments of weakness and passions later
Struck with anxiety and morning sickness
A stinky prelude to transformation
Sleepless nights and excruciating aches later

Gratitude was tangible.
The laughs and cries expressed with tiny little eyes.
The strong grip of the dainty little fingers
The softness of the delicate skin
The sound of not my consistent breaths
Thankful for the reckless youth and spontaneous self
And all the lessons this journey has taught.
This life I've lived. The life I've created and the life I've given
A lovely lie that rolls of the tongue
A truth held dear kissing pale purple lips
Can I get a Hallelujah?
