I found painted faces
Or were they faceless bodies
In the vastness of oblivion
I found whites and offs
Hugging their skin
I saw lil old me lost within
I found a paper a plane
Or were they paper planes
Flying high in the limitlessness of mind
I watched lil old me hang by it's tail
Trying harder to escape
I found a lil green sapling
trying to grow beyond its fate
In the barrenness of undeniable ache
I watched lil old me kick the can of naive nourishments
And crush the weed
The strong bitter aftertaste
of the lasts of hot black coffee
Metaphors. //a word or phrase that is used in an imaginative way to show that somebody/something has the same qualities as another thing.//
These Metaphors make sense.
The wet window I look out of
While it rains cats and dogs outside.
Sigh.
Hear the sound of pennies jingle
And laugh of stray kids and weak parents
I see hope in disparity
True joy is rare.
I watch figures dance
Wearing long blacks and whites
In a red rain that falls upside down
I watch lil old me
Match feet with her red
Play with her blacks and greys
Speak her primary shades
I've watched her grow. Bloom.
Effloresce
//reach an optimum stage of development.//
In a barren limitless oblivion.
My mind.
It is not the chaos you assume it to be
It is way more than what your imagination can ever fathom
I've made peace with the truth
And that is what sets me free
I've started loving again.
With my heart on my sleeve.
Developed a taste
For the pungent bittersweetness of life that is to last an eternity .
