Chapter 18

"How was your night?" she asked and intertwined our fingers, I felt sparks run along my fingers.

"It was terrible, my dad's election isn't going the way he planned and my mom finally came back home yesterday after a week. They had this huge argument that was blown out of proportion and he slept on the couch. When I woke up, he wasn't home and my mother still haven't said a word to me since she's got back" I sighed

I've never had that strong of a bond with my mother, she was never around. My father was busy but atleast he tries. Work was her addiction, I felt like I was glass to her.

"I'm so sorry you had to see that" Luna said as she turned to face me

"Have you ever tried talking to you mother about what you're feeling?" she asked

"No... But she's not around much" I sighed

"I wouldn't push you to do something you don't want to do, but atleast give it a try" she said in an almost whispered voice

I leaned my head against the window and watched the vehicle behind us in the mirror. Maybe I should, it wouldn't hurt to try?

After a few minutes of driving, we finally got to school. Luna parked the car and Taylor was parked on her right. I furrowed my brows when some people formed groups around the car

"You get accustomed to it" Luna chuckled, we got out of the car and I finally laid eyes on Taylor. She had on a tight pants suit and her hair was slicked back, I raised a brow when I noticed a man in a suit also coming out of the car.

It was Friday, the school usually held a General Assembly in the auditorium in the morning.

"I have to go see your father, I'll see you later?" she asked, I nodded and she smiled before walking to Taylor

The three found their way into the school and headed right to the office. Most of the students were heading to the auditorium, I walked to my locker to get a few supplies for my First Class

"Good Morning baby" Jake said as he leaned against my locker door. Ugh, this again? I rolled my eyes and slammed the door shut. My eyes trailed over his jaw, there was a dark purple bruise. I contained my laughter

"Jake, stop it, we're over remember?" I said

"We're over when I say we are" he spat

"Oh get over yourself, you're not that pretty and Jake junior lives up to his name" I whispered and motioned to his crotch

"Listen here bit-"

"No you listen to me Jake! Why can't you accept that I don't want to be with you" I spat, everyone around had their eyes on us, some stopped just to listen

"Don't you do this here" he hissed

"Jake, you're toxic, you think everyone wants a piece of you, well let me just say, you never made me cum. Your dick is small and you need to get over yourself. Just let me go Jake" Some students around us started to laugh. I smiled and turned on my heel, leaving him behind both emotionally and metaphorically, I was heading to the auditorium when I saw Zack and Mia at the door with a smile on their face

"You go girl" Mia laughed, I smiled and we walked to the front row that was always reserved for the cheerleading team.

The curtains parted, I noticed Jake walking to the reserved Football row on the left. I really had no clue what I saw in him. I wanted everything so much that I was blinded and I allowed him to use my body

I mentally cringed as I thought about the person I was. Luna was slowly bringing me out of my comfort zone and opening my eyes to so many things. I'm proud of myself for my growth. Now only if I could add some inches to my height

"Are you okay?" Zack asked

"I'm more than okay, my life took a turn for the better and I'm dating the hottest girl in the school" I chcuked, Mia's mouth fell open

"Girl?" Mia asked

"Yes- there she is right now" I motioned to the stage as I noticed Luna standing next to my father at the podium on stage. I furrowed my brows, confused on what is happening

"Holy shit you're dating Luna?" Mia gawked, I nodded and smiled at the girl

"So that's why you two were so- oh my God it fits so perfectly" she laughed

"Alright everyone, settle down. There's Just a few items on the agenda that I'd like to share. Number one, the Hamilton production was a success, we raised an overall $1000 from ticket sales and snacks combined. Give it up for the drama club" my father said, the auditorium erupted in appluases and whistles. I clapped my hands.

"Secondly, I was informed about an incident that occurred with the food in the cafeteria"

"That shit reeks!" someone yelled from the crowd, most of the students started mumbling, they agreed and frankly, I did too. I always spoke to my father about it but it was out of his hands. The school board only provided so much. I was surprised Luna recovered so quickly, maybe it was that medicine Taylor gave her

"Alright, be quiet. That's why I'm here to speak about it. Yesterday, unfortunately a student missed class because she got sick from the serving, it was an unfortunate accident and I will personally look into it" my father looked over to Luna, she walked up to the podium

"Good Morning East side" she grinned

"Holy fuck girl, which scientist made you in a lab?" someone yelled, I saw my father stick his neck out in search of the voice

"Can I have your children!" someone shouted from the crowd. No bitch, she's mine. I chuckled to myself

"Ah, as much as I appreciate the offer, my eyes are on someone else right now" Luna smiled, her eyes focused on mine for a few seconds. She winked and I felt my stomach flutter. Mia gave me a small nudge to my rib and a blush crept onto my cheeks

"Well, I'm Luna Amon. I started here for almost a month now. I'm not sure why I'm even up here, it was just a accident" Luna glared at Taylor who returned the glare

"Thanks to my father's assistant over there, my father agreed to help out the food court. So, on behalf of the Amon family, I'd like to inform everyone that we will be replacing the cooks and servers with our own personal chefs from back home. We would also like to sponsor every meal you have for the next 5 years in this school. If everyone could kindly state of their vegan or whatever on our forms that will be distributed door to door during classes, that would help out alot. Also, pay no attention to my body guard roaming the halls" Luna chuckled, my mouth hung low. What the fuck just happened?

The entire auditorium erupted with applauses, it was like a episode of Ellen during Christmas. Loud chatters and whistles flooded the room. Wow, imagine being that rich.

"What if my only diet is pussy?" Dani yelled from the crowd, Luna held back her laugh

"Who was that?!" my father got up and looked around, I laughed. Dani dipped, avoiding my father's eyes

"Alright everyone, back to class. Have a great day" my father waved and everyone formed a line to leave

"Oh my God, I still can't fathom what the hell just happened" Zack said

Neither could I Zack, neither could I.
