Jihyo POV
We were waiting for Azumi and her friends outside the building. And while waiting, I remembered Azumi and Minjun were so akward with each other unlike Jia and Jieun with Kwan and Byeongsu.
"What could be the relationship between Azumi and Minjun" I mumbled. I didn't realize that the two was listening to me
"What do you mean?" Momo unnie asked
"Did you notice that Azumi and Minjun were very akward with each other unlike the other four?" I asked and they nodded
"Maybe he is related to that girl, Areum" Jeongyeon unnie guessed but we don't know unless we ask. The three girls then finally got inside the car. We left, it was quiet until Jeongyeon unnie spoke up
"Azumi, what's with you and Minjun?" "Minjun is childhood friends with Areum but despite that Chanmi has a crush on him" Jieun exposed her friend not minding Azumi blushing.
"It's alright Azumi. You don't need to be shy" said Momo unnie
"Maybe there is a chance that maybe he will like you back" I said. To remove the silence in the car, I played Fancy and the three of them automatically started singing along.
The next day at school
Azumi POV
Me, Jieun and Jia were chatting at the classroom then Minjun and his friends sat beside us. It caught people's attention especially Areum. I don't like this
"Don't be nervous Chanmi, we are friends right?" Kwan asked
"No, we are only acquaintances" I said and stood up then went to the bathroom
"Chanmi" Minjun called me, I tried to walk away but he hold my arm
"What are you doing?" I said and tried to let him go of my arm
"Why are you avoiding me?" He asked
"Because you are a friend of Areum and I don't want her to kill me. I have to avoid you even though I like you" I said...I WASNT SUPPOSED TO CONFESS. SUCH A BAD TIMING.
"It's ok. You don't have to avoid me. If Areum does try to harm you, I will protect you because I am your bodyguard. So can you trust me?" He said
"But Areum might hate you" I said
"I don't care" He said. Why would he risk his 9 years of friendship?
"I don't care. As long as I have you" He said and it made my heart flutter
"I heard what you said and I don't know if I have feelings for you or not but I wanted to be beside you everyday. I don't care if Areum will hate me for this. I just wanna be with you" he said. I just hugged him without thinking. I looked then I saw Areum with an angry face. I stopped the hug and went back to the classroom like nothing happened.
