The winds through the jungle under the canopy of dark green trees with gray trunks. You come around the bend closest to the visitor's center and see something curious at the side of the road. Looks like the compsognathus got out of their pen, are in the process of eating something. Small, though. Maybe a rat.
See how the players react. Could result in a very short-work "battle" encounter of self defense. (Do the players antagonize them, frighten them?) If they try to capture the compys, they would probably attack.
