It was anticipated because earlier that day, classes were suspended in other cities. Let's just say that our mayor took her time to suspend classes.

It was around 9 PM. My sister and I were about to hit the sack, ready to go to school the following day, when suddenly, we heard a lot of notifs coming from both of our iPads.

" Could it be?" My sister asked me, grinning. We bolted out of bed and ran to our iPads. When we opened it, we checked the messages.

"WALANG PASOK BUKAS!" ( No school tomorrow.)

"OMG! ARE YOU SURE?"

"IT'S ON THE NEWS?"

Some people even sent news links and video links that proved that classes were suspended. Everyone was happy, even me because it doesn't hurt to take a little break.

"IT'S TRUEEEE," my sister said running up to me. Her expression looked like she won an Oscar's award. "YESSSS!" She fist bumped the air several times. Between the both of us, my sister hated school more.

We spent the next few hours playing and watching netflix.
