"Reason is powerless in the expresion of love"

Jungkook felt like he had walked into a brick wall. All his senses had numbed and all his walls came crashing down as he locked eyes with the stranger. The younger's hand were calloused yet soft in his hold and his skin was baby-soft and warm. Jungkook had no idea how one could look like a model in a white tee and black sweats. But this guy in front of him, this guy named Kim Taehyung had, in the blink of an eye, forced Jungkook to question everything he had ever known.
Jungkook was having a crisis inside his mind but outside, he remained neutral. Staring into the deep, chocolate brown eyes that held an entire galaxy in them, Jungkook was sure that this boy in front of him was an angel. Because no human was supposed to look like this. He shook the thoughts out of his mind and slowly let go of the hand, already missing the warmth. He thanked the lord that his inner conflict was not visible on his face.
He watched as Taehyung retreated his hand and turned to look at the others, Jungkook followed his gaze. His senses slowly returned to him as he took in the image. Yoongi and Hoseok were sitting on the couch, exchanging few words now and then as they smiled at each other. Sometimes he wondered how these two found each other. Hoseok had a bubbly personality like the Sun and Yoongi was a shy, introverted person. The two were polar opposites. He guessed it was what people called fate. Just then, Seokjin's voice brought him out of his thoughts.
"Jungkook, why don't you go to your room and rest? It was a long trip here, you must be tired." He said with a friendly smile and Jungkook found himself smiling back at the elder. He nodded and Seokjin turned to Taehyung. "Tae, will you show him his room? I'll get dinner ready." At this Taehyung nodded and walked towards Jungkook as the latter gulped. He stopped right in front of him and gave him a small smile.
"Which bag is yours? I'll take it to your room." He gestured towards the bags kept near the couch. Jungkook opened his mouth to protest but Taehyung continued. "Don't worry about it. I'll take it, you're our guest." Jungkook dumbly nodded, he could hear this guy speak forever. He pointed to one of the bags and Taehyung lifted it up before walking towards the two doors. He threw a glance at Jungkook who stood frozen. "You coming?" He questioned and Jungkook quickly walked up to him, following him as he opened the door and walked into the hallway, stopping in front of the 3rd door to his left. Taehyung opened the door, setting the bag down next to the bed as he stood up straight.
"I'll be in the room just across yours if you need anything." He gave him a small smile. "Don't hesitate to ask me for anything, Jungkook-ssi. Please make yourself at home." He said as he exited the room, stopping at the door. he turned around, looking at Jungkook. "I'll get you for dinner, okay?" As the elder nodded, Taehyung closed the door after himself.
Jungkook stood there, in the middle of the room for some time. Trying to process how his name could sound so amazing coming from Taehyung. He wondered why Taehyung was having this effect on him. He moved to sit on the soft bed as his thoughts crashed in his mind. It had barely been minutes since he met the younger and he had no idea what he was feeling. He decided to push the thoughts to the back of his mind for now and freshen up before dinner.

When Taehyung knocked on his door almost an hour later, Jungkook had almost fallen asleep listening to the gushing stream flowing outside. He sat up straight on his bed before he moved to open the door. Taehyung stood there, a few steps away, waiting for Jungkook to open the door. As the door opened, he gave the elder a small smile and Jungkook returned it. He closed the door and followed the boy out. Soon, he was sitting between Yoongi and Namjoon at a circular dining table in the kitchen. He told himself not to awed by grand place as he knew the Kims. Who didn't, actually? The Kims were one of the richest people in Korea, with their multinational company. He had only seen them in magazines or newspapers but he felt honoured sharing a meal with them.
"So, Jungkook," Namjoon started, turning to look at Jungkook. "What university do you go to?" He asked as Seokjin took a seat next to him after keeping the last bowl on the table. Jungkook cleared his throat and answered, "Seoul University, Namjoon-ssi." At this, the elder smiled at him. "No need to be so formal, Jungkook-ah. You can call me hyung." Jungkook nodded and soon, they all started to eat.
"You're majoring in..?" Namjoon asked.
"Computer engineering. I'm a second year." Namjoon nodded. He turned to look at Tehyung.
"Tae, you'll be joining college soon, too. Have you finalised what majors you'll take?" He asked the younger as he looked up. Taehyung shyly nodded, feeling all the eyes on him. Yoongi decided to speak up for the struggling boy.
"He told me he decided on Arts. I think it's the best choice." Yoongi finished as he smiled softly at the younger who returned it. Seokjin nodded with a smile.
"He told me today, too. If you weren't so busy all the time," he looked at Namjoon with a sickly sweet smile, "you would know too." He kept his gaze locked on the other who was squirming under the gaze. Namjoon let out a nervous chuckle and they continued with the dinner.
"The food was amazing, Jin hyung," Jungkook said after they all finished. The man in question beamed at him and thanked him. Jungkook soon found himself sitting with Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok outside, next to the stream. The moon was out and shone a soft light on the grey rocks covering the entire land. The stream shimmered as the moonlight hit it, bursting into a clear blue. They talked about useless things, laughing here and there. They were soon joined by Seokjin but there was no sign of Taehyung. Jungkook felt a little down by the fact but kept up his demeanour.
Click.
They all turned to look at the cause of the sound and there he stood. His caramel skin glistening in the moonlight, his blond hair radiating a halo and his eyes sparkling due to the reflection, holding a camera in his hands as he straightened up, smiling sheepishly. He rubbed his neck.
"Sorry." He mumbled. "But you all looked so good, I couldn't control myself." At this, Hoseok laughed a bit before posing for the picture. Taehyung's eyes lighted up in amusement and he took a picture of the redhead. Jin laughed at Hoseok's pose and they all huddled up together for more pictures. Taehyung laughed and snapped a few pictures before moving his focus to the Moon.
The conversation returned but Jungkook couldn't focus on that. His eyes never left the blond who glowed in the moonlight, surrounded by greys and blacks. He could only watch as the moonlight highlighted his body, giving him an angelic glow. The reflected waves danced on his skin as if he was underwater. And Jungkook realized what was going on.
He was catching feelings for the blond angel named Kim Taehyung.
