Chapter 24: Detect & Date

I looked back at Paul, forcing a smile. "Good things I hope." He chuckled.

"I can't say everything I heard was good." I kept my face blank as my assumptions were right.

"Well let's resolve the bad things you heard." I made a gesture for him to explain the things he had heard.

"You have not been treating Eric well." I rose a brow, expressing my amusement.

"I wasn't aware I had to babysit him. Eric's a big boy he can take care of himself." Paul blinked shocked at my response.

Clearing his throat he continued, "You are also dating another and the contract states, both parties have to agree to the partner's outside relationships, but Eric didn't therefore you need to break up your boyfriend." I laughed humorlessly.

"If you think you can come into my home and make demands you must have lost your mind, as I told your son I'm going to date or fuck whoever I want and even you can't handle that maybe you should break the contract," I said calmly, keeping a straight face, which only seemed to piss him off.

"Maybe I should." He looked at me with a darker gaze as he continued, "But you should know this means war." I smiled as he said this.

"Oh, I know." I smiled wickedly like I knew something they didn't.

"Excuse I'll be taking my leave, father," I said to him, Anton nodded.

"I'm not finished here," Paul stated, as I headed to the door.

I turned back and look at him. "Too bad because I was." I walked past Eric, going through the door.

As soon as I arrived at my room, I stepped inside ready to close the door, but a hand stopped it. I looked up and saw Alessandro.

"Hello, beautiful." He said, making my heart beat faster than before.

"Hi," I replied softly, feeling light-headed under his gaze.

"Are you ok?" Alessandro's hand ran down my arm his touch was gentle at first but it quickly changed to restraint, as to stop himself from doing something.

"I'm fine."

He trailed his fingers up to my arm to my lips, parting them, making me shiver as different sensations awoke in my body.

"You have no idea how much I wanted to hold you tonight." I rolled my eyes but a small smile was on my face.

"You're so clingy." I joked, making him smile.

"You made me this way." He stated, bringing my hand to his lips, kissing my palm gently.

"Shouldn't you be keeping Christie's company?" I asked him and immediately regretted it as I sounded like a jealous girlfriend.

"Is that jealousy I detect in your voice?" I shook my head taking my hand from his as I walked over to my desk, taking a seat.

"Alessandro, I assure you that the feelings I have for you are only physical." I lied again, leaning down to unbuckle the black heels on my feet, but his hands replaced mine as he did it for me, bending down.

"You keep telling me that yet I don't believe you." He informed me as he slipped one of the heels off my feet, I let out a sigh of relief.

"It would do you good if you did believe me." I kept in a moan as he massaged the foot he had freed from that contraption they call footwear.

"Why is that?" I watched as he released my other foot from the heels, massaging it as well.

"Being with me is dangerous. I just broke off the engagement with Eric, so he has been added to my list of enemies and with this R person after me, I'm not sure it's safe." I explained, he looked up at me, giving me his beautiful smile.
