Athena P.O.V

We stayed like this for a minute before we heard a quick footstep getting closer, I hugged Leonardo tighter because I only feel safe here.

And I believe he understood that as well, he moved a bit so he can take a look at whoever it is, his gun was really close to him, I believe taking it won't be much of a problem to him

" King! Queen! You guys alright?" I heard Adam's voice and I felt relieved that it is someone I know

" where the hell were you?" Leonardo asked

" king you ordered no bodyguard for today, I was the only one here, so I took care of the ones outside," Adam said defending himself

" ok then, clean this mess up" Was the only thing Leonardo said before he held my shoulders softly making me back away a bit.

" now I want you to close your eyes for me, until we will get out of here, ok?" He asked and I nodded closing my eyes immediately, I then felt one of his hands under my knees and the other on my back as he carried me bridal style before I felt us moving, I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck as I tried my best to keep my eyes closed.

" Leo?" I asked more like whispering

" yes, love?" He replied softly.

" why were there no guards to protect you?" I asked curiously

" Because this house is one of the safest places and it is all bulletproof, I didn't think seriously about putting security here." He said calmly

" then how did they find us?" I asked

" no idea, but don't worry, as long as you are with me I won't let anything happen to you" I smiled before hugging his neck a bit tighter

" I know" I really do

I felt him opening a car door so I opened my eyes quickly.

" you should have said we are out of there so I could open my eyes and walked myself," I told him and he looked at me confused

" But I like when you are in my arms, is there a problem with that?" He asked I shook my head

" no, can you please put me down now?" I asked this time he shook his head

" no, you are going to sit with me " I looked at him in disbelief, but he got inside the car carefully with me still in his arms before he put me down so I can sit on his lap.

" you are unbelievable," I said wide-eyed

" only for you," he said before pecking my lips

" now, when will we get married?" He asked, making me remember his perfect proposal

" I don't know, " I told him, He turned the car on before starting to drive slowly

" How can you really drive this easily while I am sitting here? Isn't it difficult?" I asked

" have you looked at your small frame? " he said making me look at my body
