10. Party

Sean POV

It took me a while to get ready because I really wished I hadn't agreed to go to this party. Trying to get Kaycee off my mind as been impossible to do. I park my car 2 houses down from JoshB house. I get out the car and I can hear the music blasting and people everywhere. I sighed thinking this is not what I was in the mood for, but maybe it can help distract me. I haven't spoken to Kaycee and that seems to be the only thing I can focus on. I know she isn't gonna be here because this type of party is not her normal kinda crowd. Kaycee doesn't drink and she's not into huge gatherings, especially this party.

I walk to the door and opened it, as soon as I walk in I see Julian . He walks up to me and gives me hug and handshake. Typical house party drunk people everywhere.

"whats up Jules? Where are the drinks?" I asked with an annoyed look.

He gave me this weird look "Whats up with you?"

"Nothing, I'm good where is everybody?" I asked not wanting to talk about anything. I just wanted to have enough drinks to put Kaycee out of my head for the night.

We walk to the kitchen in the back to grab a drink. Julian fixes me a drink and I take a sip. I have no idea what i'm drinking but I know it has alcohol. It was so strong I couldn't help but cough " What the hell is this Jules" I asked trying to get the taste off my tongue.

"I don't know but I think it has vodka in it" he laughed at me and handed me something different. I looked at it and I could smell the liquor in the cup. I took a sip and it was nasty but tolerable. With my cup in hand I followed Jules to locate everyone out back by the pool.

Everybody already seemed tipsy. " Yo Lew whats good man" JoshP said getting up from his chair. I watch as he stumble his way to me.

"you good man" I asked with a slight chuckle as he was giving me a hug.

"Yea I'm good just on my 3rd drink, wait my 6th drink, wait JoshB how may drinks did I have?"

I couldn't help but laugh at him trying to figure out his drink count. I walked over and sat down on the couch. As I downed my 2nd drink I knew this was gonna be a crazy night.

3 shots and 6 drinks later I could pretty much say I was drunk. I hear a song that I love so I walk into the living room to dance. Not my best dancing but I got cheers anyway which hyped me up to keep going. As I'm dancing I glance at the front door and see Bailey and Kaycee walking in, greeting people as the walk past.

My jaw dropped just when I got her off my mind she shows up. She doesn't like this type of party so i'm confused of why she's here. I tried putting it out of my head but when she walked past with out saying anything to me, I got annoyed. I brushed it off and followed her to the back.

Kaycee POV

I walk in to all the loud music and drunk people everywhere. I really hate that I told Bailey I would come tonight but maybe it could be a distraction for now and I can confront my issues with Sean later.

As soon as I had that thought I walk further in to the house and I see Sean drunk and dancing. People around hyping him up and he seems to be loving every minute. I decided to let him continue dancing and followed bailey.

We continue to walk out to the back where everyone was hanging out. I greeted everyone with a huge and got ready to take a seat when I felt arms wrap around my waist. I knew who it was but I had to play my part since we haven't told anyone about us yet.

" Sean, What the hell are you drunk?" I asked removing his hands from around me.

"No, I am not drunk I only had 3 drinks, wait I think 4 drinks, wait.... I can't remember but I'm not drunk." he said as he continue to invade the space in between us. I could tell he wasn't gonna stop so I grabbed his hand " we need to talk" I said pulling him to another area of the backyard for privacy.

"Oh so now you want to talk? he said and pulled his hand away from me.

"Sean, Do you want people to know? The way your acting they will ask that question. " He gave me a half smile and walked up close to me.

"I really don't care anymore, but we need to have a serious conversation." I looked him in the eyes and for some reason he seemed more sober then 5 minutes ago.

"I don't care if they know but are you prepared to answer questions?" He looked at me and gave me an annoyed look.

"Are you?" he didn't wait for me to answer and just walked away. I knew what he meant by that and to be honest with myself I'm not ready. I don't want to loose my best friend or boyfriend. I love him to much, but I know in order for us to get past this I have to tell him everything.

I watched Sean take a seat on the couch. His mood was changed and I couldn't blame him. To try and cut the tension I walk over to him and sit in his lap. He gave me a shocked look but didn't say anything. I looked at him and then his lips and he knew what I was about to do. He smiled moving our faces closer until our lips meet. I was so drawn into him I forgot we were in front of everyone. I looked around and they all had there mouths open not believing there eyes.

"i'm drunk, i'll admit it now cause I think i'm seeing things." JoshP said rubbing his eyes

"I don't think so because I saw it too. Anyone feel like telling me whats happening?" Julian said waiting for a reply.

Bailey shook her head "I knew there was something going" I didn't respond to anyone I put my head on Sean's shoulders baring my face into his neck

"I'm sorry" was all I could say.

"Its ok, we'll talk about it tomorrow." he said putting his arms around me

I hear someone clearing their throat " so you two got some explaining to do Bailey said

I sighed and put my head back down " i'm sorry for this too" after today its no longer just us.

A/N: Hey everyone, I hope everyone is being safe and staying healthy. Staying at home and practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING. I am currently driving my self crazy but writing and reading is helping.

I hope everyone is enjoying this story it is probably gonna come to an end pretty soon. I have a better idea how to end everything.
