Dragon Sister (A HTTYD2 fanfic) [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 12

Raven's POV

I kept running and running not knowing where I was heading till I found a cave, I ran inside, I continued crying inside the cave till I fell asleep wishing my nightmare will soon be over, the next morning I woke up, I remembered what happened yesterday and I tried forgetting about it, but I failed, I found my surroundings quite unfamiliar, so why don't I just look around,

"Ok." I said to myself before standing up as I pick my basket up with me, I started wondering around the forests and finally find it familiar, I went back to the cave when night fell, I rummage through my basket and finally realize what the food was for,

"Thanks mom." I said to the mid air as a single tear fell down to my cheek, as I ate my mini dinner, I kept brushing the dragon egg like as if it's a face, after that I went to sleep, the next day, I did my daily routine everyday back when my house was still up, I woke up, instead waiting for 'mom' to cook breakfast, I hunt, then eat, roam, then sleep, simple.

The next morning I did the same, but on my third-motherless-and-fatherless-day I went to relax on white sands, the last special place I spent time with my parents, on my birthday, I cried there, of all my life in the world, this was my first three days as I felt so alone and hurt, a few moments later when I was done crying, I wondered why the dragon egg I found haven't hatched yet, that day was the day I gave up hope of it hatching, so I planned to let it go, before I went near to the water I took off my boots then I placed the basket gently on the water and lightly pushed it forward letting it float towards the ocean slowly, water manages to get in, as I look at it I also managed to spot a glowing light from it, then it was forming cracks and began shaking wildly, I began stepping back but without further notice, it exploded.

I was threw back to a tree hitting my back really hard, I fell to the ground coughing through the dust and smoke in the air I crawled forward slowly unaware of what I will find, as I crawl I felt a branch, it was strong enough to hit someone with it, or something, but I'm skinny and weak and I kept thinking what do I even do if what I will encounter is a big beast, the dust clear out I heard a low, but rather cute, growl, I look up and found a black creature, it was a creature that we Vikings meant to despise, I took a step back shock and afraid, this black creature looked up to me revealing her beautiful hazel eyes, her scales are black with a tiniest bit of hint of violet, a dragon, it was a nightfury dragon, how did I know that?

Cause I heard people saying that they are dangerous dragons, killing people like this and that, it's black scales help it camouflage in the dark to hunt its food, I panicked, unsure what to do as I spread my fear of dragons, but when I looked back at the baby dragon she seemed to be spreading the same thing, fear,

"Please don't kill me." I heard a voice in my head, but I don't care, I'm in front a dragon right now and I have to deal with this situation, and that's when I realized, they are not beasts that kills people, but they're something different, they are intelligent and gentle creatures, the nightfury purred on my leg, I stood stiff waiting for the impact of a bite, but it didn't came but a brushing of tender scales on my skin, that's when I have the courage to bend down and touch the dragon, it doesn't seemed harmful at all, I spun my pointer finger around in mid air above the nightfury's head and she started caching it, I giggled, even through her scales have the hint of violet it was as dark as the night,

"Nightwing, I'll call you Nightwing." I murmured to her, she stopped playing with my finger and looked up at me,

"Does this means we're friends?" I asked her, she stood up and licked my face with a dragon-ish smile,

"Thank you." Said the same voice from a while ago, I pulled out a confused face as I look around for the source of the voice, the pain seethed behind me, I sat down to take a rest, a nap will also do, I saw a piece of shell from Nightwing's egg beside me when I sat down, so I took it and kept it, my eyelids start to descend but when they were entirely closed, I felt two pair of paws pawing my legs for a comfortable sleeping position, but I didn't care I was too tired to open my eyes back again, and so I drift to a deep sleep.

When I woke up, I wasn't at white sand beach anymore but I was in a cave that wasn't the cave I slept in, I jolted up, being alert is my top priority, well actually , surviving is, but who cares? I stood up, and when I came out from the cave, I saw something unbelievable, dragons, unbelievably a lot of dragons flying from here and there, a few small ones whizzed past me too, I duck every time one of them made a mistake in flying and ended up crashing towards me, as I walk more further outside, I smiled every time I see a dragon,

"This is amazing." I whispered under my breath, just then 6 dragons landed in front of me,

"Oh. Mah. Thor." I murmured that none of them heard, there were 2 teen thunder drum dragons a red and blue, 1 teen green scauldron, 1 teen green horrible zippleback, 2 monstrous nightmares a baby violet one and a old red one, after a tense moment, a familiar black nightfury came running towards me from between the two MDs, (Monsterous nightmares),

"Nightwing!" I called as Nightwing came running towards me she ended up hugging me, I hugged back as her four little paws wrap around my tiny body, we both look back up and I asked where we are, and as if to reply, the red MD carried me and Nightwing behind his back as the other dragons flew away except for the violet MD and the green HZ, (horrible zippleback),

"I am Head Father Dragon, nice to see you awake." There was another voice echoing in my head, and this time it was an old one, but when I heard it said 'dragon', I looked down,

"Are you the one talking?" I asked with a hint of fear in my voice, the red MN stopped walking and put me down, I faced him with Nightwing on my shoulder,

"Yes, I am." His voice echoed in my head again, I jumped back, there was laughter replacing the voice right after, I got control of my fear with dragons and stood straight, I looked around,

"This place is amazing, are yeh the one who leads 'em?" I asked, the dragon faced me,

"Yes, I am." He said and started to walk away, he looks back when he realized that I didn't follow, he nods his head to indicate me to follow, and I did,

"Wanna know why I talk, we?" He asked, I look at him with a questionable look,

"Why is tha' anyway?" I asked,

"Inside you are a dragon, you were born in the great home of the bewilderbeast, your mother is somewhat a dragon vigilante, let me tell you a story of your mother." Head father dragon said, he walked up ahead while I slowed down as everything processed in my head, this is it, I'm going to know my life's truth, and my real mother, I catch up Head Father Dragon,

"There was a young woman who was strong and brave, she has the same fate of you, who don't want to kill dragons." He started, I looked at Nightwing who was still on my shoulder,

"Actually ah resisted on killing." I said,

"Anyways, she got separated by her son and husband in a night of dragon attack, she was sent to the home of the great bewilderbeast, also known as the alpha, and grew up there saving other dragons by this evil villain called Drago, one day she gave birth of you, therefore the alpha accepted you as one of there kind, and called you there..." We stopped walking and he looked at me,

"Dragon Sister."

Hey guys, ah noo some of yeh guys are mad of meh for no' updating early, and am so sorry abou' tha', I want you to all know, is that my iPad was in a negative condition, it won't charge, and we didn't have the money to buy a new charger 'till now, plus I was in a jazz chant problem too, but anyways that's in the past, ah hope yeh guys can forgive meh, am so sorry for the long wait...
And also have a beautiful Christmas month ahead, hope yeh guys got yer Christmas tree ready up for Christmas Day! Ah wish you guys will have a beautiful Christmas month without anything interrupting it, ah wished this to yeh guys cause we have an upcoming typhoon and it's going to be tough around here...
