Raven's POV:

I woke up inside my room, though my eyes are still half closed when I looked outside my window and the sun greeting my eyes, I looked at the calendar that was beside the window, I smiled a bit but my eyes were still half closed, then they started to descend, I jolted up with a grin from my bed when I realized the day we are today,

"It's mah birthday!" I exclaimed, I jumped out from my bed and quickly changed to my favorite green shirt with a brown skirt matched by a brown leggings and brown boots, and I ponytailed my brown-red hair, I sprinted downstairs and went to the kitchen where mum is baking, mum was wearing her brown dress that's up to her toes with a purple cloth belt, and a waist apron, mum has brown hair,

"Mornin' sweetie." She said not turning to me,

"Mornin' mum!" I replied back and I stood there, rocking back and forth, grinning like crazy, waiting for another answer, mum took a peek of me and saw me like this, she turned to me completely and giggled,

"Oh, where are my manners? Happy birthday Raven!" She said and walked towards me for a hug,

"Thanks mum!" I said and hugged her legs, which is weird though because she is very tall, mum kneeled and hugged me properly, of course I have to hug back, we pulled away and she went back to her baking, she placed the tray filled with bread on the oven and left it to bake, I sat down on my chair facing the window, mum served our breakfast,

"Chicken!" I exclaimed, chicken is my favorite food, mum sat the chair across me, so my view of the window is covered, I dug into my food, when mum was finished eating, the breads too was finished baking, she stood up and place her plate in the basin and went to take the tray out from the oven, she laid the breads on a long plate and placed it by the window to cool off, I was finished with my breakfast and mum took my empty plate and placed it in the basin,

"Thank yeh." I thanked mum she smiled before she washed the dishes, I just sat there darting my eyes everywhere, then I spotted something, no, not a something, but a someone, and that someone is dad, I saw him outside the window where the breads are, he took the plate sneakily, then he placed a finger on his lips to tell me to be quiet, I stifled a laugh and nodded with a smile, dad went away when mum took out our picnic basket, I watched her as she placed our big red and white checkered picnic blanket inside, she packed 3 pairs of eating utensils, and plates, she stuffed fruits and a cake in it too, ooh and cupcakes, we must be celebrating my birthday somewhere else, mum walked towards where the bread USED to be, I clasped my mouth with my hands to cover my grin, mum stopped when she saw that the breads was gone,

"Have you seen the breads sweetie?" She asked me, then she walked towards the window and looked outside below to see if it had fell or something, I stifled a laugh,

"N-no." I said with a grin, I turned around when I heard the door closed, though it was faint but I can hear it easily, I have keen sense of hearing, don't know why, I turned around from my seat and saw dad on the entrance of the kitchen smirking while holding the plate filled with breads with his right hand and the left was inside his pocket, he was wearing blue shirt with brown pants, a belt bearing an unknown crest, and black boots, dad has black hair and resting on top of it was a Viking helmet, dad was leaning on the door frame still smirking, I stifled a laugh and turned back to mum,
