To my dearest son,

You are the only part of me left to live in this world. You have my blood in your veins, you represent the beauty of our abilities. When you were born, crying in my arms, for once, the bitterness I have died and crumbled to dust. You were the first creature I loved, and my undying soul will forever do so.

I found hope in your eyes. You were so small... So fragile.. Yet so precious. You had your father's eyes but yours differ beyond color and shape. Warmth is what I found. And warmth is what people needs to seek today.

I wrote this for you since I cannot promise that I'll see you once again. I cannot promise that I'll find the strength to hold or embrace you once again. Death has settled an inevitable wrath upon me... And one can never find a cure for this disease.

I've heard of the birth of my grandchildren... Though I feel so weak, hearing the news about the creations you and Elsa made.. Pride shatters every weak part of my body. Shame, I can never get to see or hold them. Please introduce me to them, oh son. I'd haunt you if you won't.

If only I was given a choice.

But I was not given one.

I never was given one.

I lived a bittersweet life, but you were the reason I kept on fighting through your father's cruel clutches. You are the greatest gift I received. I'm so proud of what you've become. I admire your strength, besides everything you and I have been through.

As for the daughter I've always wished for, oh Aiden... Please tell her how grateful I am. Please tell her how glad I am you met her. I can see, or sense, how she loves you so much. It was all in her blue eyes.. It was all how she held your hand.. It was how she stayed with you.

Take care of her well for me, son. You've always told me how I deserved the world.

Now, she'll be the only woman you're going to love endlessly.

Give her the world for me, Aiden.

I love you both so much.

Flames ignited.

-All my love, your mother, Helena.

"Are... Are you okay?"

Flashing her a watery smile, Aiden slowly nodded from where he sat. The sight was so new to Elsa, since he wasn't gasping... He wasn't bawling, but of course he was surely crying. He wasn't asking for a drink either, so that's a good sign. But the manner of how he pressed the folded paper to his heart almost broke her up.

Aiden wanted to read it with her, at first. But for once, he managed to stay strong and hold on through his mother's well chosen words. For once he managed to be independent, even just for a moment.

"Please... Come here."

She sighed and walked closer to him, ready to engulf him in her arms in comfort. She was ready to kiss his tears away, just like she always will.

But nothing happened.

No one was sobbing.

No one was bawling uncontrollably.

No one was in pain.

He pulled her gently to his arms, kissing the side of her head. While she can't help but smile over his actions, she still dreaded to ask the question one more time, but it seems like her question was already given an answer. She remained close, still trapped in his strong hold.

"I love you."

Caressing his face, she replied back with equal affection.

"I love you too dearly, Aiden, but are you sure you're alright?"

"I am fine. I will be. I just wanted to thank you."

"Thank me for what?"

That you stayed. That you made her happy. That you made me happy.

"Over an ocean of reasons."

"What do you think of this tunic, sis? You think Kristoff will like it?"

"I don't really know much about his tastes. You're his wife, Anna, aren't you supposed to know that?"

"Well, Kristoff hardly mentions what he likes for presents, obviously."

"While you two are arguing over what to get for your boys, I can't help but feel clueless on what to get for your father, girls." Iduna sighed helplessly.

"I'm sure you'll figure something out, mama. Doesn't papa appreciate a good book or other things that are usually found in the library?" Anna suggested.

"Ah, thank you very much, Anna. I'll best be off to the book store, then. Good luck and be safe girls!"

"Bye mama!" The two waved off in unison, bringing back their focus to the shop items in their hands.

While the strawberry blonde princess was fawning over the gray tunic in her hands, the snow queen is currently focusing on her own handicraft to serve as a mystical gift for her husband.

Tomorrow would be a very eventful day for families and mostly couples, since Valentine's Day would be celebrated widely across every village in Arendelle. Many local workers are currently busy with the preparations for the incoming festivities, and countless streamers of red and white are already decking the streets.

Some of the local workers are concentrating on the banner to be posted on the created "Serenade Your Valentine" Stage placed on the heart of the city.

A few flower shops nearby are already running out of red or white roses, and while the Royal Sisters are distracted on their little shopping, both their husbands and their father is already panicking over the Sold Out signs each florist place on the front of their stalls.

"What are we going to do now? We can't get back to the castle empty handed, I didn't even get a thorn!" Kristoff cried dramatically, earning a sarcastic scoff from Sven.

"Looks like we're going to try to be creative." Aiden frowned in disappointment, folding his gloved hands behind his back.

"I suppose roses aren't the only romantic type of flowers around here, I'm sure Iduna would like something different." Agnarr placed a hand under his chin, deep in thought.

"And for the record, Kristoff, I do know that Anna prefer sunflowers over roses." He added with a sly smile, patting his son in law's back.

"Oh gods, thank you! I'll be back before you guys know it!" Kristoff beamed, dashing away to a flower shop.

"He had his luck." Aiden sighed, scratching his head.

"You and me both. I am clueless as you are." Agnarr tiredly sat down on a nearby bench, crossing his legs.

"I guess I'm off to the chocolate shop, papa. You'll be alright in there?" Aiden asks in concern.

"Of course, son. I'm just going to search for a scarf store, I'll meet you boys back at the castle."

"Alright. See you."
