NUMBING SONG & TIME
her eyes stay downcast as she listens to the song drum in her ears. she feels every word, beat, and rhythm yet she stays seated on her bed, numb, her heartbeat ringing in her ears behind the song. it's dark, empty and warm in her room, but there are goosebumps on her skin every rhythm of the song. she feels alive yet dead at the same time. she looks up, at the wall clock.
"01:13 in the morning," she mumbles, voice small and dry. but she stays dazed, lost in the rhythm of the song and she falls back on the pillow. she just wants the time to pass by just like how it does everytime.
