"this is a stupid mistake, really," Paul mutters, hands wrapping around his torso as he sinks deeper into the soft couch of Misty's house.
there was a party going on, and Misty and Gary had forced him to join them since he hasn't been to any since the first day he stepped foot into the college. and somehow, last night they had successfully managed to make the purple-haired boy agree to come to the party.
he regrets saying yes now.
because this is like, the most horrible experience for someone who hasn't been to any parties.
the students who were invited or crashed were wasted, reeking of alcohol, sweat and smoke. and Paul realised that there were way too many who smoked.
the living room was stinking of grey puffs of the cheap cancer sticks but then he finds Ash moving around the room, pushing the smoking students to smoke outside and angrily mumbling to them that "we had already told you guys that no smoking is allowed INSIDE the house."
Paul snickers at the distress, his best friend's boyfriend was going through. he remembered how Misty mentioned last night to them that Ash never liked the smell of smoke or cigarettes or anything of that sort, it always reminded the boy of his weak father who lost his life to such addictions.
