the women asked.

"uh uhm, yes yes yes i'd love to be adopted."

"that's great, i'll have you pack up your stuff and we can leave sometime this week."

stan remembered about bill.

"oh uhm, i have to check in with my friend and his brother."

"okay, take your time i'll be here tomorrow. okay?"

stan walked upstairs.

he knocked on bills door.

"come in."

stan walked in.

"what do you want stuh-stan?"

bill said wiping his tears.

"i- i uhm i want to tell you something important."

"what is it?"

"i'm getting adopted."

"oh..."

"remember the nurse who treated me? she wants to adopt me."

"well you're saying no right?"

"i'm saying yes, bill."

"but stuh-stan look at the life we're living here."

"we have no parents, and i forgot how that feels like. you need parents too."

"i know, but me and georgie can live alone."

"no you can't."

"fine, go off with that stupid mikaela. i-it's not like i liked you in the first place."

stan gasped softly so bill wouldn't hear.

"okay, i'm leaving tomorrow."

stan closed the door and walked downstairs.

he knocked on georgies door.

"come in."

stan went in.

"hey guys guess what?"

"what is it?"

david asked.

"i'm getting adopted."

"oh my gosh! that's great! i'm so so proud."

georgie said going up to hug him.

david didn't really say anything.

"congratulations, stan."

david said with a fake smile.

"and guess what?"

"what?"

georgie asked.

"david's coming with me."

"what? no!"

georgie said.

"wait what?"

david said.

"yeah, you have no family and you deserve one. so come with me please."

"no! i don't want david to leave me."

"don't worry, he'll still be at your school."

"i know but i want him to stay with me."
