"Kunin din kita sa parties ko ha? If you don't mind?"

"Yeah. Sure! That's better! The more parties, the more fun!"

"Taray naman ng boyfriend ko masyadong sikaaat" sabi ni Mhie na katabi ko lang ngayon dito sa lamesa. Yung kasamahan ko muna ulit yung nasa booth ngayon

"Hindi naman mhie haha"

"Yiie humble!!"

"Mhiiieee"

"I'm so proud of you Dhie!! I'm sure pati si mama mapproud sayo pag nalaman yung pagsikat mo bilang dj"

"Yung parents ko kaya?"

"Dhie..."

"Haha. Don't mind me mhie. Ok lang ako 😊"

"You sure?"

"Yes mhie. A-ano mag-cr lang ako"

"Ok. Dito lang ako ah?"

"Yeah. I-I'll be back"

Everyone's happy. Praising me and all. It may sound kill joy pero ano kayang feeling na marinig sa magulang mo na proud sila sayo? I know this isn't the right time but I can't help it. I suddenly miss them... I miss my own family.

Instead of going to the comfort room i decided to go to the veranda where you can clearly see the stars in the sky. Some say na pag namatay ka nagiging stars ka daw. I don't believe that but for now I want to believe that my parents were there

"Hay. Ma, pa. I miss you. I miss your hugs dad, your voice. I miss everything about the both of you. Are you happy for me? I hope you are..."

After some time nagulat ako sa nagsalita

"DJ Edie?"

Si sir JP

"Ako nga, bakit may problema ba?"

"Wala naman. Gusto ko lang sana magpahangin, mag-isip isip at sakto nakita kita dito na walang kasama"

I just nodded.

"Is something bugging you?"

I took a deep breathe. I don't even know what to say

"I know it's weird kasi di mo ko kilala pero trust me nakakagaan sa loob kapag may nasabihan ka ng dinadamdam mo. I've ben there, done that. It's so hard to trust, I know, but at least try"

I actually know you but not personally sir JP 😅 hindi na lang muna ako nagsalita. I don't know where to start.

"Anong pakiramdam ng masabihan ka ng proud sayo magulang mo? Ano nga ba?"

"Di ko pa kasi naranasan, I just met my parents after so many years of finding and longing for them"

Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya ngayon. He looked back at me

"I don't want her to be involved in my own issues..."

"The moment you let her in your life, involved na siya dun pa lang. She's worried sick about you, I can see that"

"Ayoko naman na mag-alala siya ehh"

"But she is. Hindi mo mawawala sa kanya yun. Mahal ka nung tao. You have to trust her more. I'm just so lucky my girlfriend understood after some time"

"Ang hirap eh"

"Wala namang madali sa pinagdadaanan natin, pero wag mong kakalimutan yung taong handang dumamay sayo"

"We're lucky we have them in our lives, aren't we?"

"Yeah. Very lucky. So don't waste your time making her worried. Be true to her. She loves you. She'll understand"

"I guess I just have to have the courage right?"

"Yeah. Ikaw lang ang inaantay niya"

"Thanks sir JP"

"No problem. Lika na bumalik na tayo sa kanila"

Pagbalik namin kina Mhie sinalubong niya ko agad, niyakap ko naman siya

"Dhie!! Tagal mo naman sa banyo! Jumebs ka ba??"

Buti na lang bulong lang yung huli jusko mhie 🤦🏻‍♂️

"Mhiiee. No. Haha." I hugged her tight and I kissed her forehead

"Tagal mo kasi ehh wala ako kasama dito ☹️"

"Alalang alala yan sayo Edie haha." Elisa

"Nakapag-usap kayo?" Tanong ni Myr samen ni JP

"Yes babylove" tapos inakbayan naman ni sir JP si Myr

"Talaga dhie? Nakausap mo si sir JP?"

"Myra talaga. Kanina saken mam tapos ngayon kay JP sir hahaha" Myr

"Ah hehe artista kasi kayo ehh haha"

"Close na kayo ni Myra?" JP

"I guess so? Haha"

"Dhie may friend na kong artistaaa"

"Hahahaha cute cute mo mhie" i hugged her tight

Nakita ko namang niyakap din ni JP si Myr

"Ayy ohh. Kayo na may lovelife. Nakakaloka nasan ba yung saken?" Elisa

"Hahahaha" sabay sabay kaming napatawa kay Elisa
