My mother had slapped me

Correction

A bitch had slapped me

-

I looked up at her, all I saw was regret and sorrow. I didn't care, all I felt for her now was hatred

How dare she lay a single finger on me? Who does she think she is?

I run out of the police station. I just keep running, with the moon as my guide ill never be alone

I ran faster and faster far away from the station, even further away from my mother

I finally stop in front of the beach, the horizon wavers while tears fell from my eyes ever so silently

"Why?"

I fall to my knees lay down on the sand, the tears fell down my face until the darkness and taken me in. I fell asleep.

The next day, I wake up and I look around the beach. Nothing, just a beautiful serene silence.

I get up and shake off all the sand that's attached to my body

I run back to the police station and I see a police officer in the desk. I walk to him and meet his eyes.

"Hello officer, may I see Michael Gordon Clifford?"

"He's going into trial today, your parents paid a bunch of money for the quickest trial they could get. so you'll see your precious Michael later today. 2:00 PM"

The officer called my parents and they came to pick me up. I didn't talk to any of them the whole way there. I was beyond mad. Once we arrived I got out of the car and walked into the large house. Laid out on the couch in our living room is a dress and some heels.

My mom walks in and tells me to put it on for the trial.

"Don't you think I have to wear something more professional?"

"Just wear it and shut up, it might not even fit you anymore you've gained some weight haven't you?"

I grab the silk red dress and red stilettos I take a shower first than put it on, I comb out my hair and than curl it.

"Sweetie, we need to get to the trial"

I walk out of the house effortlessly and get to the car.

The trial room is made of wood, a dark mahogany. Beautiful really.

I am seated next to my attorney and my parents. On the far left. In the middle center in front of us is the judge and on the right and left of the judge there are podiums

And on the far right I can see Michael's attorney. The judge has arrived and so have all of the witnesses behind us seated on the benches. Than Michael enters, I expected him to look up and smile at me. But, Instead he looks at me coldly; with a dark stare. Pure hatred

The jury session goes on from 2:00 pm to 10:00 o clock in the evening

The jury ruled Michael to 6 months in prison

I did everything I could

But everything was never enough
