Dear God,
If you truly are merciful, if everything you do is purposeful,
If you hold everything here on earth so dear,
If we were not one big mistake, not made when you were taking a break,
If we are all one together, there would be no need for this letter
You need to tell your people to get their lives together
Start loving people that don't fit the mold they were told
Is the perfect person, teach them a lesson, show them that we are all unique
And that we all deserve to be able to say "I am me"
And I know that you'll never hear this letter
But writing it makes me feel better
Because I work with words
Like you work with hearts
Putting them together
Then taking them apart
i respect people's religions
but this much is true
i will never ever ever
believe in you
