Elijah and I walk into a larger room, his hand still firmly on my bicep. I am in no position to fight back. Elijah is much older and stronger than I am. I am also at a disadvantage because I do not consume human blood anymore. Only animal. Elijah does not know of this, because I have not spoken to him, or any of my other siblings since the change.

I then bring my attention towards the center of the room. There stands a taller, thin girl with a light complexion, brown hair and matching brown eyes. Katerina, I think. I feel my blood boil, as Elijah vamp speeds us towards her. He then shoves me onto the couch that is placed behind her.

"Don't move," he growls lowly, staring at me. I nod my head once. He stares at me for another second, before bringing his attention to the doppelganger. He leans in slowly, close to her face. She lets out shaky breaths, as I can hear her heart pounding. Elijah then directs his mouth close to her neck, as he sniffs slightly. "Human. It's impossible." He mumbles, looking surprised for a moment before speaking again, "Hello there," he grins slightly. He spares me a glace, as I stare in shock. So it's not Katerina. She really is the doppelganger. Elijah interrupts my thoughts, by speaking. "Well, we have a long journey ahead of us, we should be going."

"Please," the doppelganger cries, looking at Rose, "Don't let him take me."

Elijah cuts her off, "One last piece of business. Then we're done." Elijah assures her, then turns around, approaching Trevor slowly.

"I've waited so long for this day, Elijah," He whispers, "I'm truly, very sorry."

"Oh no, your apology's not necessary." Elijah seems calm. Almost too calm. I know my brother well, and I know he's about to do something horrible.

"Yes. Yes, it is," Trevor speaks softly. Fear written all over his face, "You trusted me with Katerina and I failed you."

"Well, yes, you are the guilty one." Elijah walks in circles around Trevor. "And Rose aided you because she was loyal to you. That I honor." Elijah stops directly in front of him. "Where's your loyalty?"

"I beg your forgiveness." Trevor pleads.

"So granted." Elijah states. A small smile appears on Trevor's face, shortly before Elijah takes his head clean off. Rose cries out, loudly.

"'Lijah!" I scream.

"You..." Rose whimpers.

"Don't, Rose." He states, simply, "Now that you're free." Elijah then draws his attention towards the doppelganger. "Come." He waves his hand towards her, beckoning her to come to him.

"No, what about the moonstone?" The doppelganger speaks out, quickly. Elijah and I react strongly to that. Him and I share a suspicious look, as I stare at her intently.

He glares at her. "What do you know about the moonstone?"

"I know that you need it. And I know where it is." She is clearly shaking.

"Yes?" Elijah whispers.

"I can help you get it."

"Tell me where it is."

"It doesn't work that way."

Elijah looks suprised, yet amused. "Are you negotiating with me?" Elijah looks back at Rose.

"It's the first I've heard of it." she spits out.

Elijah looks back at the doppelganger. He looks into her eyes, attempting to compel her. Yet, when it didn't work he brings his attention to her neck. "What is this vervain doing around your neck?" He questions, ripping it off and throwing it. He then grabs her head, forcing her to look in his eyes. "Tell me where the moonstone is." He compels.
