"Alright, everyone, next week we're going to discuss about the Ambassador of Denmark's proposal and our schedule is finally clear. The meeting is adjourned."

Aiden released a relieved sigh after taking off his specs, disliking the accessory so much. He wiped his brow with exhaustion and ended up slumped down on his chair, lazily rolling up his white sleeves. His green eyes found the luscious red box just near a photograph of his mother, a smile tugging on his lips right after he laid his eyes on it.

He watched as the councilmen exit the court room with audible chatters. Sir Ivar was the most likeable out of all the snobby group, like a fresh air to the stuffy smoke. He's realistic when it comes to suggesting, and he likes to improvise meetings with his untamed humor. He likes to think outside the box and is extremely enthusiastic about charitable organizations presented by his queen.

Speaking of the latter, his vision was suddenly blocked by two, cold hands and an adorable giggle.

"Who might this be?" He chastised.

Another heavenly sound of giggles.

"Probably Gerda?" Elsa laughed.

"Well, Gerda, can you please fetch my darling wife to come here so she can sit on my lap to ease my throbbing head down?" He smiled, playing along. Elsa finally retrieved her hands from his eyes and sat down on him, a smirk tugging on her lips.

"How fast," Aiden chuckled, kissing her cheek, "Hello love. Good afternoon, perhaps?"

"It's not even twelve yet, lover," Elsa smiled, bending down to kiss his lips, "Good morning will do. Haven't seen you since dawn."

"Two words. Kai's bell. Six in the morning." Aiden shrugged, "And I didn't want to disturb your sleep."

"That's sweet of you, lover, but the twins tend to wake up and look for their mama right after the hour."

"Right." Aiden smirked, "By the way, I might have to drop them to their nanny for just one evening."

Elsa blushed, "What are you proposing, my king?"

Aiden inched his face closer, "I invited Anna and Kristoff, too, don't worry. Just an evening and picnic spent under the stars, nothing too extravagant. Just cuddling, just no cares even for a few moments."

"I'm in." She grinned, burrowing her fingers in his hair, "Mh, lavender this time?"

"Indeed." He hummed, holding her close, "I requested chocolate for tonight, I'm sure you'll enjoy our little date. Besides, it's nearly Valentine's, is it not?"

"Yeah, almost Valentine's. Looks like it's almost time to go to the marketplace again."

"Darling, not just yet. My token for you is going to be a surprise."

"Same to you, lover."

"Well then, let's go take lunch together and meet up with the rest."

Chandler giggled softly as his father held him by the open breeze coming from the open window; his round blue eyes lighting up in astonishment as his father tapped his nose with a warm hand. His embonpoint hand wrapped itself around Aiden's pinky, making the fire king chuckle.

"You're perfect in my eyes, buddy. Did you know that?" He smiled, caressing his son's curly hair.

Chandler gave him a toothless smile as a response.

"You just love to smile, don't you?" He commented truthfully, "Just like mama. You and your mama share the same smile. I like that."

The little prince replied with a coo.

"You and your sister are the bridge between fire and ice. And a bridge has two sides, and your mama has you two. Not that I want you both to save a kingdom from washing away, I'd hate to see you both grow up so fast."

Chandler didn't reply this time.

"You know, I can never forget to remind myself how time pass by so swiftly, little one. Was it just yesterday my own mother was preventing me from causing havoc around the palace back then.."

Chandler gave a delighted squeal at the mention of a new person.

"Oh, you could have met your grandmama, baby. Everything still reminds me of her. She would've loved both of you. You and Auriana."

Chandler's smile shrunk at the sad tone of the fire King's words.

"She's beautiful, Chandy. She would scold me time to time about curfews and my health back then because of overwork. She would be my only crying shoulder; and her death almost drove me to insanity. Thankfully, your mama was there to raise me up to my toes once again."

Chandler smiled. He loves his mama, very much. He noticed that mama would make daddy happy often, and it warms his tiny heart with her mama's affectionate actions with his daddy.

"I'll never get tired of saying she deserved the world." He sighed.

"Do you want to know how I met your mama, son?"

Chandler gurgled and squealed to signify an excited approval.

"Alright then. Well, you see, daddy was once a prince of another country and he was required to go to an event being held here. Uncle Magoo happened to have given daddy a bet the night before- and that's when it all started.

"Me and your mama met awkwardly because of daddy's idiot butt. Daddy accidentally stepped on mama's cape, and there it began. I finally met the ravishing, most beautiful creature to arrive upon the earth."

Chandler clapped his hands sluggishly, entertained by his father's narration.

"Well, wasn't that something?" Anna mused with a grin.

Aiden almost jumped at the new person leaning against the door way, arms folded with sleeves rolled up, "A-anna! How long were y-"

"Long enough until your little dreamy sentiment about my sister." She laughed, "So, Elsa did inform me correctly. You really are a hopeless romantic."

"If she teases me so much about it, I'd even say it's one of the reasons why she married me!" Aiden mocked a defensive pout, "Look at Auntie Anna right now, Chandy! She and mama are teaming up!"

"We're not that bad, lover."

Aiden beamed at the sight of his wife linking arms with her sister, smirking, "Ikke glem stjernekvelden vår, minn elska." Don't you forget about our starry evening, my love.

"Jeg vil ikke, kjekk." I won't, handsome.

"So now you speak Norwegian, huh? Nice," Anna whistled, "I'm sure if Elsa asked you to build her a whole ship you'd build her one! She even got you to learn our language!" She laughed.

"I find Norwegian a really romantic language, my wife happens to find it irresistible when I speak with it, too."

"Another blurted secret and I will zap you with ice, lover."
