she opened up the door

i think she'd leave before i had the chance

to bid her a proper farewell

but i was never there for her

when she was crawling up in the bathroom corner

what a silent sound

she wished someone would hear her

wasn't her fault that she kept quiet

no one would really know

what she had secretly wanted

put my ego on a shelf

now she told me this is a proper farewell
