I'm Where?

Zoey began jumping up and down. She hugged Allison and Carter. "Thank you."

Allison finished sewing up Alex and put a bandage on the sore. She then handed some pilled to Alex. "If you need them."

Alex was thankful that she didn't force him to have a few pills. They all began walking out of GD and to the cars. Zoey, Carter, Allison, and Alex got into Carter's jeep. Joe was going to join them but hopped into her car. Five people in one car are too much.

They drove to the one diner in the town for lunch. Alex just looked out the window seeing the town. Zoey just watched Alex. He was interesting, not like any other boy his age. He was not normal, seemed older. Zoey liked him; he was strong, intelligent but wasn't very trusting of others. This was something that Zoey was going to try and help him with. She could tell that he was hurt physically and emotionally. She would never hurt him.

They got to the diner and walked in. There was Vincent at the counter serving other people. They sat down at one of the tables. Alex was looking for a menu but there weren't any. He thought this was weird, but it also was a small town.

Vincent walked over to the table and notice Alex. "How is everyone today?"

"We are good Vincent, at least so far in this weird day," Carter said looking a little tired.

"Good to hear. The good part, not the weird part... Who is this?" Vincent asked motioning towards Alex.

"My name is Alex. Not from around here." Alex shook Vincent's hand.

"I can see. Well, order anything you like. There is no menu." Vincent said. Everyone ordered their usual. Alex had to think. He ended up with a grill cheese sandwich with chips. He didn't know how his stomach would do since he hadn't eaten in a while. Though this was usual for Alex these days.

Soon the orders came, and the questions began around the table. Joe was first to ask the important question in the room at that time.

"How did you knock Carter down and grab his gun?" Joe asked. Carter rolled his eyes and sighed. Alex really didn't want to answer but she seemed like she uses to be military. Maybe he could trust her, he could trust Zoey and she looked like she also wanted to know.

"I was trained by SAS for a week before my first mission. Then I learned a few tricks from when I was learning karate. Then just learning on the job." Alex admitted. They all looked at him with pity and that he was crazy. Zoey was in awe over him. She knew there was so much more to him then what he was telling.

"You said that it hurt more to get shot in the chest, what did you mean by that? Had you gotten severely shot before?" Allison asked. Joe moves uncomfortably after that question. She knew what Alex meant.

"It's something that I wish not to talk about. It happened a long time ago." Alex said.

"How old are you?" Carter asked knowing that he wasn't going to like the answer.

"16. 14 when MI6 recruited me. What is exactly this town?" Alex asked.

"Eureka is a government town that keeps all the highly intelligent scientists to live peacefully and run make their inventions. It's a safe place for them. Also, everyone is like one another which make thing easier for them." Allison said.

"Yeah that's the basics but I have to deal with them every day and make sure that don't blow up the town," Carter said.

"And you do a good job Jack," Allison said.

"I get annoying though. They sometimes don't listen." Carter said.

"Welcome to Eureka," Joe said.

"What's your training Joe?" Alex asked.

"Rather not say. It's not like it matters." Joe said.

"I would. Maybe I could beat you as I did with Carter." Alex said relaxing a bit. Joe put her food on her plate.

"Oh, it's on kid," Joe said.

"Now wait a minute. Alex is hurt." Allison said.

"It's no problem, Allison. I am careful." Alex said.

"I will believe it when I see it," Allison whispered.

"Okay, then it's settled. We will go to the training room in GD after we are done with lunch." Joe said. Alex agreed and continued to eat. Then Alex felt like something was going to go wrong. He was on high alert. Joe, Zoey, and Carter notice.

"Is something wrong Alex?" Zoey asked. Alex looked around the room when he saw it. A group of people with guns ready to run into the room. Alex stood up from the table. Cater and Joe was on alert now.

"Everyone, get down!" Alex said.
