Jennie haphazardly let her body fall onto her bed at 4am in the morning. It was the day after Saturday's lunch with the Parks and right after the eventful gathering Jennie immediately cleaned up her whole house to prepare for Chaeyoung moving in. A lot of things were discussed and cleared out during that day an one of those things was that both their parents decided it would be best if the two of them lived with each other as soon as possible so when the news breaks out that they're engaged then they could both just camp inside their home and keep an eye on each other.

Thus giving Jennie a panic attack because she wanted her house clean for when Chaeyoung finally moves in with her but she didn't expect it to be this soon. After lunch later she'll be picking up Chaeyoung and all her belongings and transporting her back into their home.

She both felt nervous and excited to be able to live with the girl. She already knew how Chaeyoung acted inside her household due to their multiple sleepovers when they were growing up but it was different this time since they' actually be living together day-in day-out.

She really wanted the younger girl to be comfortable and happy in her new home so she made sure that everything was spotless.

Closing her eyes, Jennie decided to get at least a couple of hours of shut eye before she picks up Chaeyoung.

Hours later, Jennie was chivalrously carrying Chaeyoung's luggages and boxes into her 2020 Matte Black Jeep Wrangler. The younger girl didn't need to pack much, just the clothes that she usually wore, her instruments, belongings and some stuffed toys she wanted to bring. She was due to a wardrobe change anyway since her other clothes doesn't fit her new slightly mature style. The younger girl decided she'll give her old clothes to charity.

This doesn't mean that she's packing lightly though as Jennie huffed after depositing the last box inside her car. She wiped a little sweat off her forehead and looked at her work. Her car was almost full of boxes and luggages that only the two seats in front were available. How much stuff could she possible need? Did she pack her whole house?

Treading back into the house, Jennie found Mrs Park sitting in the living room seemingly waiting for her to get back. She saw Jennie and immediately tapped the space beside her indicating for the girl to join her. Once Jennie sat down she was immediately engulfed in a loving hug and the older woman held Jennie in a tight embrace. The Parks have always treated her like this even since she was a child and she couldn't be more grateful to them for treating her like their own blood. She wrapped her arms around the older woman as well, enjoying the hugs she gave her since she wasn't able to spend time with her ever since she got so busy. She used to teach her how to cook and bake and all those "Wifey" things, she once told her.

Pulling away, the older woman sighed in relief.

"Jennie, I just wanted to express how grateful and relieved I am to have you as my daughter-in-law. I couldn't imagine anyone better to take care and love my Chaeyoung. Although something tells me you've been doing that for years hmm?"

Mrs Park looked at her knowingly and Jennie seemed to forget how to breathe or even think. Her stomach dropped and her face was paler than normal.

"I-I don't know w-what you're talking about, Auntie. I-I think you're just misunderstanding"

Mrs Park gave her a gentle smile and cupped her right cheek to calm the girl down. "My Dear, I have seen you two grow since you were little girls. I've seen how you two blossom into the young women you are now. I'm not blind, Honey. I know love when I see it and I also know when it is reciprocated. I can only ask for you to continue loving her and I'm sure she will love you how she's loved you all this time as well."

Jennie sat there dumbfounded not to mention she feels as if her heart was about to explode. She was having trouble absorbing and comprehending what was said to her but she steeled herself and sat up straight. She looked into the older woman's loving eyes. "I promise to you that I will do everything in my power to take care of Chaeyoung. I-I do love her. I-I truly love your daughter and I promise to love her in all my days."

She felt the pressure leave her body when she realized it was her first time admitting out loud to anyone related to Chaeyoung that she was in love with the girl. It both freed and terrified her.

Mrs Park smiled and cupped the girl's cheeks "Oh Jennie we know you will, my dear. Were so grateful for the love you're giving her."

As if on cue, Chaeyoung walked down the stairs with her father. Once they reached down the stairs, Mr Park stood beside Jennie and squeezed her shoulder lightly. The older man sensing that his wife already talked to the younger girl about their sentiments. He smiled lovingly at Jennie and ruffled her hair slightly like he always does. "You talked hmm? My wife's sentiments are mine as well. Oh and you should stock a lot of lemon juice from now on Jennie, you know how Chaengie is when she's grumpy."

Chaeyoung gasped in protest. "I'm not a bad kind of grumpy!"

They both chuckled and Mr Park led all of them to Jennie's car making sure that nothing was left behind.

Saying their goodbyes, the older couple reminded them to visit often and call whenever they can.

Jennie opened the door for Chaeyoung and let the girl sit comfortably. Before she could close the door, Mrs Park called out to Jennie from the front porch. "Oh and Jennie, honey, It's Omma and Appa from now on okay?"

Both girls heard this and they both felt giddy hearing this from the older woman. Jennie gave Mrs Park one of her gummy smiles and nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, Omma!"

It was a comfortable ride home and the girls kept stealing glances from each other all throughout the drive. Seeing Jennie's high walls that surrounded her house and property, Chaeyoung started to feel a little nervous. Here it is. I'm really going to live with her.

Jennie then clicked the wireless remote to automatically open her gates to let the car pass through. Once they were inside she immediately closed the gates shut. She parked her car alongside her collection of cars in the driveway and shut it off.

Jennie unbuckled her seatbelt and turned to Chaeyoung "Stay there, okay?" The older girl immediately exited the vehicle and jogged towards Chaeyoung's door. She opened it for the younger girl, while taking her right hand to guide her down the vehicle making sure Chaeyoung got off properly.

She gave the older girl a sincere thank you and both girls decided to start unloading Jennie's Wrangler. It was currently 2 in the afternoon and when they got done unloading the car and placing the boxes inside their bedroom the clock striked 3.

"I feel like that was enough work out for me to last a year." Chaeyoung groaned and sat on the bedroom floor, she didn't want to sit on the bed without showering.

Jennie nodded in agreement, too tired to say anything and sat next to the girl. She leaned her head on Chaeyoung's shoulder and groaned. "I thought I was fit enough for this."

Chaeyoung chuckled and leaned her head on Jennie's. "I have an idea. Why don't we freshen up, change into comfortable clothes, crank up the air conditioner and then we can start arranging my things. How's that sound, Jendeukie?"

Feeling drained, the older girl could only nod in agreement. They both stood up and after Chaeyoung dug up some comfortable pajamas and one of Jennie's oversized hoodies that she stole, she then walked to the bathroom to shower.

Chaeyoung couldn't help but be lost in thought while showering. She felt so giddy being here with Jennie in their home. Looking around she did notice that Mrs Kim was right, the place did look so barren and sad.

She smiled giddily and continued on cleaning herself with a glint in her eye.

A little touch of Rose wouldn't hurt. Maybe a little touch of pink here and there?
