"We don't just let anyone in the mathletes" The boy named Kevin said "How do we know this girl is even good at math?"

Tyler's POV

I sat there looking at this girl, she is so pretty. My math homework is long forgotten as I looked at her, I can tell she isn't going to be like other girls. She is dressed for herself and not by what someone wants her to.

"Sit" Kevin said

She nodded and sat down next to me, a small blushed formed on my face as she tied her hair into a ponytail.

"So. Tells us about your self" I said

"Well I moved here form a really small town and they focus on academics so my classes were hard. Yet math was always so easy for me." She said

I nodded as she spoke, I guess Kevin caught me staring at her cause he gave me a thumbs up. Kevin got up and walked away leaving me alone with Y/N.

"So do you wanna...... I don't know.... Hang out after school?" I asked her

"That would be nice" She said

"REALLY... I mean yeah, that's cool" I said trying to act cool

She let out a giggle as my face turned red. Then the bell rang.

"Bye Tyler, I'll see you after school" She said before walking over to Janice and Damian.

That's when Kevin can back.

"Sooooo. You and Y/N?" He said with a smirk

"What about it" I said while walking to class

"You like her" Kevin said

"So" I answer as we sat down

I pulled out my note book and started to copy the notes that were on the bored. As I copied them I couldn't help but think about after school.

"Kevin. Are we letting her in the mathletes? I mean we don't have a girl and kinda need on" I said

"I vote we give her a try. We are going to have the talk to Ms. Norbury though, she'd be okay with that but still" Kevin said

I nodded my head as we finished the notes, class went by slow and I just want to go home. After a long forty five minutes the bell rang. I went to my locker and grabbed my back pack and waited at the main doors for Y/N. Once I saw her I went over to her.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked

"Your house if that's fine. I don't want to go home right now" She said

I nodded and grabbed her hand pulling her a long side me. My house I about twenty minutes away but I always take a short cut through the park. I let go of Y/N hand and she comes up next to me.

"So, how long have you lived here?" She asked me

"Since I was a child, I've been here my whole life. I hate it here though, the kids are mean. Word of advice stay away from Regina George" I said

"Why? I mean is she bad?" She said with confusion

"She is not only mean but I have seen her take in a person and then that person changed. All they cared about was popularity and nothing out, they ended up dropping out of high school. " I explained

"Wow, that's..... Something" She said not having any words

As we got to my house I pulled out my key unlocking the door.

"This place is huge! Way bigger than my house. I live in a tiny apartment" Y/N said with a smile

"Yeah, my parents have money but nobody knows because I don't want fake friends" I told her
