" The apt and best date for the wedding is on the 6th of next month or the 15th of the  month after that" the Brahmin priest told musically
" Well ,in that case why delay. Next month starts in 5 days and  sounds good" Arwind suggested
" But Vikram has to go to the conference abroad on the 12th so we should choose 15th" Mohan replied
" Whatever suits my partner" he smiled and the date was fixed.

Roshni was heading out for shopping.
"Dear , are you going for shopping?"
Questioned Arwind , he continued
Answering his own question with a big smile " good good, do all the necessary shopping for the big day as it's in 2 months on the 15th"
The beam on her face vanished as her father's words dawned on her but managing to fake a smile she shook her head in agreement and she quickly walked out of the house

Inside her car, Roshni sat thinking about the mess she's made. She realized that she was never free to fall in love with another man when she has already given her consent to marry Vikram."you were on the verge of getting married" she said to herself gritting her teeth trying to fight back the angry tears.
This has to end immediately she thought ,she dialled  surya  driving to his hospital.
"Hey, tell me"

" hi, I need to talk to you" Roshni's voice was still shaking

" Roshni are you alright? " He asked worried

"It's the wedding "

"Please don't cry, I'm a little busy now but will see you in the evening and talk it out clearly, I love you" he waited for her to say it back

"Ok" was what she could spit out of her mouth containing the sob, she couldn't stop feeling bad about the way she's been fooling her dad and the man she has promised to marry

Surya was quite tired after working straight for so long and was prepping up to go home straight but he suddenly remembers promising to meet roshni .
He calls her up and tells her to come to the cafe where they last met.
"Hey, I'll be there in 5 minutes,no I'll pick you up"
He parks his car in front of a perfume shop and returns back after a few minutes.Roshni was peeking out of her window ,as she saw Surya's car she felt relieved .
She opened the car door and sat next to him , she was amazed how he looked so fresh after such a busy day .
His shirt still looking crisp after a long days work , he bent forward to give her a hug but as he touched her ,he perceived the hesitation in her and the tension in her body .Surya bent down further reaching Roshni's leg rest area and he gently caressed her foot and blew a kiss on his hand and again touched her foot softly, he further moved his hand and picked up something

As Surya went for an embrace something stopped Roshni, she still couldn't ignore the fact that she's getting married in two months but as he held her foot that one reassuring touch from surya warmed Roshni's heart like a marshmallow.when he got up and handed her a small box ,she curiously opened it up and found a Versace perfume bottle.
"Just don't worry, we will handle this perfectly fine, It's just that your father has just recovered and I don't want to stress him.The ringtone of Surya's buzzing mobile distracted both from the conversation ,as he looked at the phone screen his face turned pale and his body tensed up . He locked the phone screen and turned to talk to Roshni.
Roshni noticed the sudden change in Surya's face and behavior , this made her worried
"Are you ok?" She questioned softly
"Yes just work stress " he replied
"Whenever you miss me ,use this perfume.This scent will remind you of us"
Roshni tilted her head and placed it on his shoulder silently
