Switzerland (Basch Zwingli) x Reader

Weight rested on her neck as she journeyed throughout the forest to reach her destination. Her hands absentmindedly fidgeted with her camera. She had brought the camera to catch the beautiful scenery of Switzerland and Liechtenstein during her stay with one of her close friends Lili. Lili had warned her that her older brother would be staying with them and excitement coursed through (Y/N)'s veins at the possibility of a new friend.

She arrived at the small cottage and knocked on the wooden door. Lili opened the door with excitement clear on her face "You came!" She smiled and pulled her close friend into a tight hug "Of course. How could I miss an experience like this?" They pulled apart and Lili dragged her into the house. She got herself settled in the guest bedroom and headed toward the kitchen to see a blonde male sitting at the table. He looked up at her entrance and his green eyes scanned her carefully. She fidgeted on the spot under his gaze.

Lili entered the room and smiled brightly at the sight. "Brother this is (Y/N). I told you about her visiting a week ago. (Y/N) this is my brother Basch" Lili explained. (Y/N) smiled kindly and offered her hand to shake "It's a pleasure to meet you Basch." Pink dusted his cheeks as he shook her hand "Likewise." Lili watched the exchange with a small smile. She cleared her throat and picked up the picnic basket "Will you be joining us brother?" He silently nodded.

The trio made their way over to their picnic spot. (Y/N) gazed at the scenery in awe. She had seen similar scenes before, but being in Switzerland felt different. She failed to notice Basch watching her. A small smile played at his lips at the sight of her. She turned to look back at them and he turned toward the picnic basket to hide his staring. She blinked in confusion but decided to take her spot beside Lili on the blanket. The food was handed out and (Y/N) ate it happily. Conversation between the trio dulled.

(Y/N) turned her attention to the scenery once again. The view was absolutely breathtaking. She pulled out her camera and took a few photos to remember the day. She turned to look at the other two and smiled. Lili remained talking to Basch about the sandwich she made while he sat there with a fond look on his face. She snapped a quick picture. Basch looked up at the sound. Red decorated his cheeks in realization and he sent her a soft glare. She returned his glare with a bright smile. He stared at her for a few moments longer before turning away with a small frown. (Y/N) stared at the picture on her camera and smiled.

His reaction amused her greatly and she internally made a goal to take as many pictures of him off-guard as possible. The picnic soon ended and Lili led the way back to their cottage. Basch watched (Y/N) out of the corner of his eye during the walk. He intended to make sure she wouldn't get any more pictures of him. During his careful watching, his eyes began to drift from her camera to her face.

He had noticed it before, but being closer to her made him realize her true beauty. Pink slowly dusted his cheeks the longer he stared at her. He failed to see the camera until he heard the familiar sound. He fixed his expression and glared at her "Why are you taking pictures of me?" She faltered at the question "I thought it was amusing. I'm sorry. If it's bothering you I'll stop." He turned away from her and remained silent. She raised a confused eyebrow. 'Does this mean I'm still allowed?' She thought to herself as she fiddled with her camera. They arrived at the cottage and (Y/N) carefully placed her camera on her bed. Her neck was beginning to hurt and she needed a break.

She entered the living room and sat beside Lili on the couch. Lili smiled up at her "How are you enjoying your visit?" She smiled down at her friend "It's been wonderful." Lili remained silent for a few moments "What do you think of brother?" Her ears turned pink and she fumbled with her words. Lili smiled and she fixed herself "He's been nice. He didn't get mad at me for taking pictures of him earlier." Lili blinked in surprise "Really? Usually, he'd threaten to shoot someone if they did that." (Y/N) blinked in surprise. Basch entered the living room and settled himself next to Lili. (Y/N) looked over at him and smiled, taking note of the red settling itself on his cheeks.

Author's Note:

Hope you enjoyed this. My friend told me to write an imagine with the keyword being camera, and I attempted that. Did it turn out well? I mean that's up to you.

The next one is Lithuania.
