Tom smiled as he walked into chloes room "how are you feeling" he asked as Chloe looked to him and smiled "what over then the fact I was beaten and left to dead, and had to be admitted again for broken ribs I'm all good" she said as he looked to her and chuckled as he sat next to her and smiled "you always have to make a joke out of things like this don't you" Tom said as Chloe looked to him and smiled "of course, what else can I do cry? It's happened and I can't change it" she said as Tom looked to her and smiled as he took a hold of her hand and smiled "I know and I should of been there from you, what mark did to you was unbearable and I should of known when you gave up poppy who misses you" Tom said as Chloe smiled "I miss her too" she said as to, smiled

"Did you speak to the police" Tom asked as Chloe sighed "there coming later, I'm scared. I'm scared he will come back here and will kill me for good this time" she said as Tom looked to her "it's going to be okay, I won't let him hurt you again, I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise" I am here to look after you no matter what and I won't let you down" Tom said as Chloe looked to him and smiled. Chloe knew that she could trust Tom. She was scared after everything. She knew what mark was capable and he would easily come after her and Chloe didn't want to be hurt again not when he had almost killed her. She knew that the last thing that she wanted was for poppy to get caught up in it. She only hoped mark wouldn't hurt Tom to get to her either

Chloe had been discharged and was staying with Steph. Tom had offered her to stay at his but Chloe didn't want to force that on him especially when she didn't know just what was going on with them. Her head was a mess over it. Chloe stood in the kitchen and bent over in pain as grace walked in and frowned as she looked to her sister. She could tell that there was something up "hey, you okay" Chloe asked as grace nodded. Grace was off and it worried Chloe "you know whatever it is that is bothering you can tell me. It will be okay. I'm here" Chloe said as grace smiled "I'm okay, I'm just worried over you. Mark isn't going to come back for you is he" grace asked as Chloe looked to her and sighed "I don't know but the police are after him so not if he isn't stupid" Chloe said
