I began my journey home on the busy streets. Even at night the streets were a blur of motion and life. The smells of all the food booths drifted into my nostrils. If I hadn't eaten before hand, I'd have to stop and buy some.
"Mommy, can't I have some ice cream?" Said a little boy.
"No, sweetie. Mommy needs to save money this month. Maybe next time." Said his mother.
"I can buy him one." I said getting out my wallet.
"Oh no, please sir. You don't have to." She said blushing. I smiled.
"I don't mind. Allow me." I said. The woman nodded and the boy cheered. Once he got his ice cream, the boy and his mom thanked me and they left.
"Aren't you kind?" Said a girl with red hair. She looked very mature and she wore a different school uniform than I.
"Well, I just wanted to help them out. The name's Kenta by the way." I said turning to the beauty. She flashed me a smirk.
"My name is Karsuna. I'm from Harajuku High. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said very cheerful. She reached out to shake my hand and I obliged.
"What brings you to our big city?" I asked as we began to walk and talk on the main drag.
"I'm here because my school and Academi High will be competing in an upcoming sports event." She said.
"Do you happen to go to Academi High?" She said stopping to turn to me.
"I do actually." I said smiling. I felt a small tinge of hatred pierce me. I looked her dead in the face without changing my facial expression. Though she smiled and laughed, you could feel some thing was off about her. In her eyes, there was something not human. An undying hatred of some sort that would never fade no matter the amount of time and attention you gave it.
"Well that's great! Do you play any sports?" She said putting her hands behind her back and tilting her head to the side.
"I don't actually. I've never had an interest in them really. My family moves around a lot, so getting involved in sports never was an option." I said beginning to walk again.
"That's really sad. I play volleyball. Our team is number one in the region! We've won the last three regional championships and many of our players go to play for college teams. Atleast 4 of our players have gone on to play professionally." She said with much pride in her voice.
"Wow, I guess you guys are pretty good. What rank is our team? I never really pay attention to the games or anything." I said laughing slightly. She stifled a giggle.
"You're team is the bottom of the barrel. You may have a good basketball team, but your volleyball team is atrocious." She said throwing her head back and laughing. "It's almost pitiful how bad your team is. I would tell you to come and cheer your team on, but there won't be much to cheer about when we're playing."
"Is that so?" I said as I turned off the main drag.
"Of course, we're the best in the region. Remember?" She said stopping and facing me.
"Well, we'll see." I said walking away.
"What do you mean, 'We'll see." She said running in front of me to cut me off. "We're the best there is."
"As you've said many times." I said almost getting tired of her pushing of the fact.
"We're so good, I'll even make you a deal." She said looking at me devilishly.
"What kind of deal is that?" I asked leaning against the building we were stood in front of.
"If you win, I'll sleep with you since you're not that bad looking. Like that will ever happen." She said laughing.
"Wait, what?" I asked completely confused.
"But if we win, you must transfer to Harajuku immediately and become my new boytoy." She said crossing her arms.
"I can't do that. I have a girlfriend here and I like my school. I doubt my father would spend so much money to get me into Academi just to let me transfer out of the blue." I said jokingly.
"Don't worry. I'll have my father pay. He's always up to keep his darling little daughter happy while he's at work." She said handing me a transfer sheet already filled out with all my info. It was already stamped and ready to go. All it needed was to be sent.
"I'd hang onto that if I was you." She said smiling with pure evil.
"I don't remember ever agreeing to this!" I said looking at the paper in shock. It had my signature at the bottom. It was a perfect forgery.
The world came to a grinding halt and I looked up at her. Her red hair began to glow and on her head, a beautiful crown formed.
"Don't worry. Thanks to this beautiful crown, most people don't even know what they've done for me. It allows me to make people do little tasks and then wipe their memory of it. I could even make you turn that form in, pack your bags, and be at Harajuku before even knowing you ever left this very spot. However, I'm a woman of my word. I'm a Dragonspawn just like you, Kenta. Think about it, if we were to mate, we would be unstoppable. Our bloodline would be the purest Dragon line ever to exist, so why not come with me." She said holding her hand out.
"Because I have someone else and I like it here." I said forming my gears and backing away.
"Fine. Have it your way. We will meet again in 5 days. That's when we will beat your puny school, and you'll be coming with me. Remember the name Karsuna, Kenta. You'll be screaming it in the bedroom soon enough." She said as she snapped her fingers, vanished, and the world spurred back to life.
"How the fuck do I always get in these positions?" I said leaning against the wall and putting my head in my hands.
