I made my way to the Divinity Club's headquarters. The large white building stood in easy view from everywhere on the campus. I pushed the large oak doors aside for entrance. The room was cold and dark. It only got darker as the door closed behind me.
The feeling of being watched followed. I felt around in the darkness for a light switch of some kind. There was nothing there. Just a bare wall. I heard movement in the other room. It scared me, and I jumped.
"Hello? Kaede, anyone there?" There was no reply. Just silence. I felt a finger tip go from my lower back to in between my shoulder blades. A chilling voice whispered in my ear.
"Are you lost, darling? Do you need some assistance?" Said the voice. Her words sent a chill down my spine. It's hands drifted up and around my torso. I tried to move, but it was to late. The arms grasped me tight. I could feel my attacker's body.
It was an obvious female. I could tell from the voice. Also, the two mounds of flesh digging into my back. I struggled against her grip. I reached for her body to have something to push against. I grabbed something I wish I hadn't.
"Ooooh! Not so rough! This is your first time. I can tell by the way you're acting." She said whispering in my ear. She flipped me around and placed a poisonous kiss on my lips. I was helpless as she forced her tongue into my mouth. It explored every inch of it.
I tried again to get free, but when I pushed her strength only increased. This struggle went on for so long I was running out of air. Then I saw a light. I reached out for it.
"Shoko! Release him immediately." Said Kaede's voice. My assailant released me. I fell to the floor gasping for air. She turned to Kaede.
"Oh Kaede, you always ruin the fun. Can't I have a little enjoyment in my life." Shoko said straightening her clothes up from our endeavor. Kaede walked over and helped me to my feet.
"Kenta, this is Shoko. She's a fellow full blooded demon. Sadly, she has some succubus in her." Kaede said making sure I was okay. I stumbled a little as I recovered. I heard footsteps as three others walked up the steps to the building. I turned to see a male and two other females.
"These are the other three. They aren't Demons by birth, I had to physically change them like you. I had to call them over cell, because I remembered Shoko was cleaning up the club building. I knew there was going to be trouble when you got here. Sorry for almost sending you to your death Kenta." Kaede said with a nervous smile.
"What do you mean my death? She was going to kill me!" I said hiding behind Kaede.
"Well, she could of killed you if that scene had gone on any longer. Succubus can suck the life energy out of a living human. That's why you couldn't get away. The life gets literally sucked out of you. Once it's gone, even I can't save you." Kaede said looking over her shoulder at me.
"Anyway Kenta, this handsome Devil is Dimichi. He has been a servant of mine for three years now." Kaede said pointing to him. He waved at me.
"This beauty is Hulo. She is my caretaker. She looks after this place usually. It was her day off from working hard. Shoko was voted to take her place for the day." Kaede said with a smug grin. Hulo bowed.
"Against my will!" Shoko said from behind me.
"Hush! Then last but certainly not least is Riah. She will be fixing your home while your away." Kaede said pointing at her. Riah followed Hulo's example. I waved back at all of them.
"This is the new guy, huh. Doesn't look very strong." Riah said stepping forward and staring at me. It made me a little uncomfortable with her red eyes looking straight at me.
"Alright Riah if you think that, why don't you be Kenta's partner on his first mission." Kaede said walking towards the stairs. Riah opened her mouth to protest, but Kaede held one finger up and she closed it. Kaede then clapped and the candles on the wall all lit in unison.
"Come to the meeting room. Dimichi, get the door please." Kaede said climbing the stairs to the top. Dimichi did as he was told as we followed Kaede.
The meeting room was huge. It had a red carpet, couches and tables in the center of the room, and a large desk in the back. Kaede sat at this desk and everyone else sat on the couches. I did as well.
"Alright Kenta here, has recovered some good information for us. A knight of the English Cross has been sent to Japan. She wasn't sent to fight though. Only to investigate. I still don't like it. I want you all to be careful on your own from now on." Kaede said crossing her arms. They nodded in response. I never noticed, but Kaede can be pretty damn serious when she wants too.
"Also, we're backed up with requests for us." Kaede said looking over at a large stack of fliers. I was confused.
"What do you mean people need us?" I said looking at the stack. Kaede walked over to the stack and sorted through some of it. She took one paper, read it, and handed it to me.
"What I mean is people summon us. They ask for advice or ask for help. In return they sign a pact with us. It's a win win situation." ,Kaede said as I took the paper, "Though your new at this, so Riah will be helping you on your first job. I looked over at Riah. She had the face of about as much enjoyment as watching paint dry. I sighed and nodded.
"Alright, Dimichi, Hulo, and I can do the rest." Kaede said walking back to her desk.
"Wait, what about Shoko? Why doesn't she try to get pacts. Are you worried about her?" I asked looking over at the succubus.
"I'm more scared for the people if she did. With her being what she is, it's much more trouble for me to keep an eye on. I'd rather not lose customers, because some people can't control themselves." Kaede said shooting a look at Shoko. Shoko laughed and shrugged her shoulders.
"Alright rookie enough stalling, let's get to it." Riah said opening the door out of the meeting room. She motioned for me. I guess I have no choice. I followed her through the doors and out of the room.
