"Where am I?" I said sitting up. It looked like a dead forest. There were burnt trees and heavy fog. I stood up, and looked at my arms where the Dark Angel had pierced. They were fine. I looked at my torso. Other than scars of the past battles. Where the arms had dug in was gone there as well.

"229....229..." repeated a voice in the fog. I walked in that direction. I came up to a door. It was just there. It wasn't attached to anything. I walked 360 degrees around it and nothing was there. It was just a door.

"229...deceased. 230...Kenta Takizawa. Enter..." Said the ominous voice again. Before I could even move or act the door flung open and sucked me in. I landed on concrete. When I looked up, a large castle bared down on me. A large cloaked figure picked me up, and cleaned me off.

"Where am I?" I said to the figure. He looked oddly familiar. He looked down at me. Then led me to the castle. He opened the doors, and on a throne sat a lone figure.

"This is him?" Asked the crowned man. The hooded man nodded.

"230. Just as you asked." When he spoke it sounded like the clacking of bone on bone.

"Thank you Grim." Said the king. It hit me. That's it. The hooded figure was the Grim Reaper.

"The only reason I rescued this soul is to pay off my debt King Drederic." The Reaper said before going through the floor and disappearing. Drederic turned his attention back to me. I bowed. He laughed at me.

"No need to be so formal Dragon Spawn. It's fine." He said. I slowly rose to look at him. He smiled, and waved an old familiar face into the room. Kaede ran and tackled me to the floor in a hug.

"Oh Kenta! I thought I lost you. Don't you ever do that to me again." She said in tears. She pushed her head into my chest, and continued to sob. I held her in a hug.

Once Kaede had stopped, she told me about how the Dark Angel had escaped. She took me into her room. She then threw me onto her bed.

"Wait! Shouldn't we talk about this first?" I said trying to get up. She pushed me back down.

"Hold still, Kenta." She whispered in my ear. I felt an electric buzz go through my arm. Then a little black mass jumped off my body sparking. It cried out and it's body slowly began to change. It's head began to form long luscious hair. Then it's body took form. It took shape in that of a girl. Maybe 16 in age. Though it's form certainly didn't lack anything in "certain" areas. She was covered in some sort of cloak as well. It threw it's head up, and stared at me. It's blue eyes were like wandering into mine. I wonder what they were looking for?

"Kenta, look out! It's a Void Stalker!" She said beginning to form a fireball. The Stalker ran behind me, and looked up at me. I tackled Kaede to the ground. She struggled against my grasp.

"Kenta? What are you doing? Let me go! We can do this later." She said slightly blushing at the last part.

"No, she's fine. Look she's not causing pain or hurting anyone." I said looking down at the blushing beauty. I turned my head to look at the girl. She was gone.

"Where did she go?" I asked confused. I felt something as soft as velvet drape down my shoulders. I looked up, and laying on top of me was the girl. She felt lighter then air.

"What are you doing up there?" I said letting Kaede go. I slowly moved upwards, and she walked onto the bed. Kaede stared at me tensely. Like every move I did was an error.

"What's your name?" I asked sitting on the floor. She merely looked at me, and tilted her head as though she didn't understand. Maybe she didn't hear me. I asked again. This time something stirred in those eyes hidden under the huge amount of pitch black hair. It mouthed syllables, but nothing I could understand.

"A-" Was all she could get out before Kaede tackled her, and put a pillow over her mouth.

"Kaede! What are you doing?!" I asked springing up from my spot on the floor to aid the girl.

"Void Stalkers must not speak to mortals. It can cause many things to happen to you, Kenta. You could go blind, deaf, or the most common Side effect, senseless. You'll lose all five senses. Taste, touch, hearing, sight, and smell." She said. The girl simply looked up at Kaede.

"She probably attached herself to you, and traveled through when you were revived." She said. I sat back down, and thought for a second.

"Okay. Let her up.", Kaede slowly removed the pillow and let the girl up,"Then I'll leave the room, and you can ask her." I said leaving. I heard an attempt at persuading me from Kaede, but I closed the door before she could talk. Kaede waved me back in after awhile.

"Her name is Sodaka." Kaede said standing by the door.

"So that's your name?" I asked grabbing her hand. She looked into my eyes.

"That's it. Why did she attach herself to me?" I asked turning to Kaede.

"Probably the same reason any other Void Walker attaches them self to a soul. To feed off of it. That's why we need to destroy her now." Kaede said making an advance. I cut her off.

"Hey, slow yourself down. There's no need to resort to violence just yet. She isn't hurting anyone." I said putting myself in front of the girl. Kaede's eyes flared with anger for a second, but returned to normal with a devious grin.

"Okay. She can live." I let out a sigh of relief after this statement. "But the moment she does anything, you are automatically responsible for her." Kaede said chuckling before leaving the room. I sat on the bed next to the girl.

"Who's going to watch you, when I'm at school though. Dad can't take care of you, and I know Kaede won't." I said looking for answers in my head. Her head tilted my direction.

"I can go with you." She said looking at me.
