When I woke up I realized familiar walls these four white walls I know oh so well I was at the hospital but why was I here? my head was bandaged up some of my memory I still have like that August came to my house but somethings were still cloudy I looked to my side and saw a sleeping Autumn with someone who looked so familiar I just couldn't figure it out until I saw his left arm a tattoo that said royalty with a crown 👑 it was Chris how did he get here? why was he here?

"Chris?"

"Huh?" He said wiping the sleep out of his eye

"What are you doing here?"

"Uhmm I'm your emergency contact number and the hospital contacted me that you were in critical condition and I came as soon as I could," he said looking into my eyes as I quickly looked away

"Yeah, how has autumn been and your Lil boy where is he?

As soon as I heard him say that I burst into tears

"My baby" I silently cried

"He's gone h-he's gone he took him from me"

"Who took him from you?"

"A-August," I said hyperventilating as I heard my monitors beeping

"Hey hey hey calm down I'm gonna handle it ok calm down," he said stroking my hair

"What happened?" I took a long pause " to us?" I said lowly wiping my tears away for some reason while he was holding me I felt a sense of security and safety

"Whatchu mean?"

"Like after I left the hospital you said you wanted to Focus on you and you didn't want to deal with me no more"

"Huh?" He said thinking " When I left the hospital I had a note on my car that said I'm leaving thank you for all the things you've done for me but August is  coming for me so I have to leave you xo xo -Dani" he gripped my chin

"I never said that though" I said thinking

"I should've known" he semi-yelled making Autumn wake up

"Hey baby mamas ok now"

"Mommy last night daddy hit me"

"Where did he hit you?"         

 "Right here" she pointed to her back where she had a gash and a forming bruises all on her back

I gasped "Baby mom's sorry I couldn't stop him" I cried 

"It's not your fault Dani," he said just like he said a couple of years ago

"Yes it is this time I'm so messed up you all are better off without me" 

"Dani don't say that I love you"

"Chris" " you don't know all that I've been through you don't know the half of it I just can't take it no more,"  I said crying

"Dani to many  people love you for you to give up I know a lot of what you've been through is messed up and you didn't deserve it I know that but we can't change nor dwell on the past so Danielle you need to get it together for your family"

"Where's royalty?" I said changing the subject

"She's with her mom," he said clearing his throat 

"Ok"

"Well I'm tired ima go back to sleep," I said yawning

"Ok sleep tight," he said kissing my forehead and going back in the chair

"Autumn come here," he said

"Yes?"

"You wanna go get breakfast for me you and mommy?"

"Yesss," she said clapping her hands excitedly 

"Where you wanna go?"

~UNKNOWN~

 I watched as he and a little girl walked out of the hospital now was my time to act
