"No! Please go. You need to get up now before you're late!" I shook my head. He was being really difficult about it, but I was trying to persuade him as best as I could.

"You sure? Like it's really nothing to just cancel," he questioned. I walked around the bed, leaned down towards his face, and gave him multiple pecks on his big lips.

"Im sure!" I said confidently before kissing him again. "I'll see you when you get back," I winked.

"When I come home, I'm tearing them clothes off of you," Jay warned as he watched me turn towards the bedroom door, swaying my hips left and right.

"Is that right?" I teased while looking over my shoulder at Jay who was now sitting at the edge of the bed.

"Mhmmm!" he moaned.

"We'll see about all of that... Bye!" I waved before walking out.

"Bye baby!" I heard Jay say. I walked into the kitchen fully expecting to see Rita and Blue sitting at the table for breakfast. I guess they were both sleeping in. Blue did go to bed quite late the night before.

"Good morning!" Julius greeted me."You ready boss?" he questioned. He was siting in the living room dressed and ready to escort me to my appointment —as usual.

"Good morning. Yes Julius!" I smiled wide. I grabbed my purse and followed behind him as we left out of the condo.

"Hello Mrs. Carter! How are you this morning?" Doctor Chi finally entered the room after I patiently waited for almost a half an hour.

"I'm doing well. Thank you Doctor!" I smiled. This appointment was just like any routine pregnancy check-up. The Medical Assistant took my blood pressure and weight. Then I stripped from the waist down to prepare for the my examination and Transabdominal Ultrasound.

"How's your stress levels? Do you feel less stressed?" Doctor Chi inquires as she settles herself on the stool. The last appointment, I had confided in her. Since Jay was at this appointment, I had to keep things vague, but I told her that several things were going on in my life, which resulted in me having a lot of stress and anxiety.

Doctor Chi gave me some recommendations that she wanted implemented daily in attempt to lower my stress. Stretching exercises, proper rest, taking more baths, and swimming are just a few that Dr. Chi listed. I knew that stress wasn't good for the baby, so I tried my best to follow her instructions. If I'm being honest, I haven't been consistent with it, which is why I still feel very stressed. "I definitely feel less stressed than the previous week, but it hasn't gone away," I spoke truthfully.

"Okay! Keep doing what I said, and I'm sure it will get better," she suggested. I nodded my head in agreement. Dr. Chi grabbed her stethoscope that was wrapped around her neck and listened to my heart and lungs while I was still sitting up. Everything sounded normal.
