Stevie, Charlotte and Lily had spent the past 30 minutes dancing on the couches in their living room to Queen's greatest hits, when the buzzer to their apartment sounded. Charlotte stopped in her tracks. "Was that the door?"
"I didn't hear anything," Stevie shouted over the loud music and Lily responded by shaking her head.
Charlotte climbed off of the couch and headed to the door. She picked up the phone that connected to the intercom. "Hello?"
"Hey, it's me." Lola's voice came onto the intercom. "Did you guys know there's a huge bouquet of flowers addressed to Steve on your doorstep?"
"What? No!" Charlotte answered, looking at Stevie who just shrugged. "Can you bring them up with you?"
"Uh, I can try," Lola confirmed. Charlotte pressed the buzzer to let her into the building and turned down the volume of the music.
"I thought all of the gifts people were sending are going to your parent's place." Charlotte furrowed her brow at her best friend and walked back over to the centre of the room, coming to a stop next to Lily. "I mean you only moved in 2 days ago. Why would someone think to send stuff here?"
Stevie shrugged again. "I don't know. My parents already sent me flowers, they're in my room."
"Wait a minute." Lily stopped and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend. Charlotte smiled involuntarily at her affection. "Who's the only other person that knows you moved in?" She asked, causing Stevie to shrug yet again.
"Oh my god, Stevie!" Charlotte exclaimed, rolling her eyes. "Who literally helped you move all of your stuff here not even two days ago!?"
"What? Timmy?" Stevie raised an eyebrow, causing the girls to nod eagerly. "No, he wouldn't do that. We don't do all that mushy stuff."
"You didn't do all that mushy stuff." Charlotte corrected her, with a gleam in her eye. "You don't know what he does now."
There was a loud knock at the door and Stevie rushed over, opening it to reveal a huge bouquet made up of a variety of pink flowers, Lola's platinum blonde hair barely visible behind it. "Can you take this, please? I'm literally about to drop it." She requested. Stevie grabbed the flowers immediately and carried them over to the coffee table.
"They are boyfriend flowers. Don't even try to tell me that they're not." Charlotte assumed, shaking her head, causing Lily to chuckle quietly.
"They're very pretty." Lola nodded. "And very heavy."
Stevie found a card hidden amongst the flower heads with her name printed on in a cursive font. She hastily opened the envelope and found a scrawled note.

Stevie blushed and bit her lip to conceal her smile. She turned to her friends, her cheeks red and a proud expression across her face. "They're from him."
Lily beamed widely at the girl she had grown to love so dearly. Her time with Timothée had been amazing and they had worked very well together, but after finding Charlotte she knew that this was the way it always should have been. Their affection was misplaced. Just because a couple works doesn't mean that they are meant to be together. You can be compatible with lots of people, but you only have one soulmate. And she felt as though she had found hers. "Of course they are."
