In which Lavinia Abrams, a girl with wealth, moves to Concord, Massachusetts, and slowly but surely falls for the blonde artist across the way. Lavinia Abrams was a girl born into wealth and class, life handed to her on a silver platter. She was aware of those less fortunate than her and their struggles, but never truly understood. It wasn't her fault, an overprotective mother and a narcissistic father will do that to you. So when a scandal destroys her father's reputation, and the Abrams must move to Concord to start over, Lavina finds herself learning a lot from the family across the meadow. In this story the reader is the "Jo" character and Danny is in the place of Laurie. Plot description: Your rich neighbour had the heart this year to invite you and your sisters to his family's annual New Year's party. You are forced to attend with your sisters even though you dislike this sort of formal occasion and interactions with strangers because you have little practice or interest in the formal etiquette of high society and all that comes with it.
