Drowning

The waves crashed,
As my heart sank.
The breeze so cold,
My lips aren't pink.

On the rock I sat,
Thinking how this happened.
How they were dragged,
Dragged deep into the ocean.

I could do nothing,
Nothing at all.
As I stood watching,
Watching them drown.

My heart was smashed,
My face went blank.
I'll turn old,
Within a wink.

If you hear those screams,
Gargled and filled with water,
When your near the ocean,
Just know it's them.

She stands behind me,
Playing a tune,
Saying it's over,
I'll die soon.

Who was she?
I don't know.
I know what she is,
And I'll tell you just what!

She was my sister,
My friend and my life,
She was the killer,
Of both mom and dad.

She whispered in my ear,
No warmth laced with her voice.
She said she had no choice,
That they had said to.

Tears ran down her face,
Same with mine,
As we both held hands,
And went sinking down.

No struggle,
No gasp,
No scream and no laugh.

I'm telling you this,
Telling you right now,
When your near the ocean,
Know that we're there.

Try to say hi,
It's rude to ignore,
Don't follow my wishes,
You'll join us soon...
