A/N: So this scene is based off the AMAZING story The Bad Boy's Girl by JessGirl93 . Seriously. That book is one of the best I have EVER read! She is amazing and I can honestly say I have a girl crush. You might understand this better after you've read Chapter Thirty-Two. Anyhoo...HERE IT IS!

Marlene's P.O.V (she's a girl)

I was cuddled up in the middle of my bed.

You how when you're really sad, you just twist yourself into this sort of shell in the middle of your bed like an island? And you have this thought in your head that if you ever let go, then you'd die so you just huddle there and try not to think.

Yup.

That's how Cyrion saw me.

9 hours after our fight about his childhood "friend".

And let me tell you, it was NOT pleasant.

"Lene? Can I talk to you?" This was odd. Cyrion was incredibly straight-to-the-point. In fact I don't remember the last time he asked me for permission to talk or otherwise.

"No," I grumble out from underneath my fluffy blue comforter, ignoring my torturous heart that had beat extra.

"Please I'll be quick," Cyrion pleaded almost desperately.

"Fine," I replied, sitting up. I saw that Cyrion was holding the door frame with all he was worth, his knuckles a sharp contrast to his even golden tan. At my reply, he had stepped foot into my room. "Hey no bro! That line right there is the line to MY territory."

When he noticed I was back to the side I show everyone else, he paled further. But, being the smart boy I knew he was, he backed up a bit.

Taking a deep breath, he said,"okay. So after you kicked me out, Chantel and I went to a bar." When I heard his "friend's" name, my nostrils flared before I forced myself to calm down and remain impassive.

"Go on," I indicated, though I soon came to regret it.

"And we both got a little drunk and she confessed to loving me and she kissed me and I kissed her back because I was so hurt and I--" by the this point, Cyrion was rambling and I saw he was inching his way into my room.

"WATCH THE THE LINE!" I screamed, blinking through the glaze covering my eyes. Jumping back as if I physically harmed him, Cyrion stood despondently outside my room, once again leaning against the doorframe.

"I'm sorry, babe, I didn't mean to it was an accide--" Cyrion tried again but stopped when I pushed past him into the bathroom to upchuck the minimal contents of my stomach.

When I finished emptying out my stomach, I realised Cyrion was lovingly holding back my hair and rubbing my back.

"Get back!" I exclaimed, pushing him away and leaning against the wall under the window. Struggling to get up and open the window, I saw Cyrion move to help me but I just pushed him back again, albeitly a bit too hard. After opening the window, I breathed in deeply a bit before without turning to Cyrion said in an eerily calm voice,"have you ever heard of lying?"

Without turning, I could imagine the love of my life stumblng backa  bit and blinking in confusion. "What do you mea--"

Once again cutting him off, I continued. "When you hate someone, you lie to hurt them. Yet when you love someone, you lie to protect them. Right now, your two different scenarios aren't looking too good."

Turning around, I finished, "and just so you know, I did love you."

Cyrion's confusion had cleared by now and he just looked distraught. "Lene--"

"Marlene," I cut off, not able to stand the endearment. "My name is Marlene."

He looked as if his world was crumbling down. Swallowing deeply and quifte audibly, Cyrion tried agin. "Marlene. I'm sorry. It was an accident. Can we please start again?"

At the hopeful look on his face, I almost wanted to laugh. "Start again? Are you kidding me? You seriously think I don't know your history with girls?" I barked out a laugh before glaring at him. "No, we can not start again. We are over and we always will be."

At my words, Cyrion's face paled once again and he tried again. "Please I promise it'll be better this ti--"

"No, Cyr. There won't be a next time. Now leave."

"But--"

"I said leave!"

Finally realizing that I was serious, Cyrion slumped resignedly before turning and leaving.

Seconds after I heard the front door slam, I slid down the wall and wrapped my arms around my legs, just staring off into space. I almost didn't notice that Jared, the only person I can and ever will trust, sitting down next to me and sighing.

"You do realize he's not worth it, right? He doesn't deserve your pain so you shouldn't be sa--"

Again, I cut someone off. "He didn't say it back. He NEVER says it back. NEVER!" I scream.

For a few moments, Jared was quiet. Then, he sighed again and wrapped an arm around me. I leaned my head against his shoulder. "He never says he loves me," I whisper.

After a few more minutes of utter silence, Jared startles me by standing up. "Okay that's it. We're going out."

Looking up at him in confusion, I asked,"wha--"

"Nope. Come on, Mari."

Realizing was he was getting at, I felt a cheshire smile come over my face. "Okay. Let's go."

Cole's P.O.V

I saw her again.

That girl that seemed so familiar.

After meeting Marlene through Cyrion, I made a connection.

They were the same person.

But there's nothing wrong with humoring a girl.

"Hey cute-stuff." I heard a southern drawl from behind me.

Turning with a smirk, I saw the brunette hottie, giving me a sleazy smile.

"Well well well, if it isn't the infamous Mari," I replied. Mari looked different from Marlene. Good bye band t-shirts and jeans, hello silk corset and leather pants. Her hair was different from her common high ponytail, replaced with a windswept wavy look highlighed with sharp cat-eye eyeliner and blood-red lips. "Can I get a kiss?" I asked jokingly per usual, puckering my lips.

However the difference this time is, the beautiful, brunette vixen smiled mischieviously and leaning across the bar, grabbed me into a liplock, the drink I was shaking hovering in the space between us.

"Ha!" she said in triumph, pulling back. "Gotcha." With that, she held up the hand that held my wallet. "Drinks on you."

Laughing at "Mari's" antics, I simply held up the shaker and said, "one step ahead of you, Mari." And just as she walked away, I continued my routine. "Save me a dance?"

Giving me her "come hither" look, Mari broke routine again. "Always."

A/N: Okay so this part is kinda awkward because I wrote the first half around 3 months ago and I'm trying to clean out my drafts. Chances are, it was supposed to be longer but whatever.
