"You've got to be freaking kidding me," I said in both annoyance and frustration

"I'm completely serious," he said, a smug smirk on his face

Ughhhh. Of course Peter would pick a horror movie just to embarrass me in front of Warren. I told myself I just had to suck it up and try my best not to scream too much. A few minutes later, we were seated on the couch. Warren was on my left and Jean on my right. Peter wanted to sit next to me but I refused, claiming that he was just going to tease me the whole time. Jubilee was sprawled on the bean bag next to the couch. I assumed she was just going to sit on her phone the whole time as usual. She always said horror movies were too predictable and boring.

Peter started the movie and the first 30 minutes weren't that scary. Then it started getting worse.

I had subconsciously picked up one of the couch cushions and was clutching it desperately. Finally, when nothing happened I relaxed. Then, out of nowhere, the clown popped out.

I screamed loudly and reached out to grab onto Jean's hand. However, my eyes widened when I heard chuckling from beside me. I looked down and realized I had accidentally grabbed Warren's hand and not Jean's

"S-sorry," I said awkwardly and removed my hand from his

"No problem," Warren replied, smirking slightly

"I just hate scary movies" I added, trying to turn my attention away from him

Warren then wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. I gladly nestled my head against his chest, already starting to feel more comfortable now that I was in his arms. The rest of the movie wasn't that bad. As long as I focused on Warren's steady breathing and not the killer clown on the screen.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, the stupid movie was over. I still couldn't believe Peter had made us watch that for almost two hours.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty tired," Jean said as she stood up and stretched her arms above her head

"Yeah, me too," Kurt said, yawning

"OK, goodnight you guys" I said as I stood up from the couch

Warren stood up with me and wrapped his arm around my waist resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Sleep well, Cassidy," Peter said creepily

"Oh, she will...with me," Warren retorted, making me blush

Peter clenched his fists and glared at Warren. but then shook his head and walked out without saying another word.

"I better go check on him. He's really trying, Cassidy" Scott said before he walked out to find Peter

I nodded and tried to untangle myself from Warren as the rest of the group left the movie room as well

"C'mon, let's go to bed," I said to him

Warren made a pouty face and nuzzled into my neck even more, but then finally let go after a few moments

I stepped away from him and we started walking towards our room. Once we finally made it there, I plopped onto the bed and groaned."Ughhhhh. I hate horror movies"

"Are you still scared, angel?" Warren asked as he slid into bed next to me

"Uh, no?" I said, still thinking back to the clown jumpscare that had terrified me earlier. I involuntarily shuddered and Warren raised an eyebrow, silently calling me out on my lie, "OK, maybe just a little," I said, accepting my defeat

"Well, maybe I can help take your mind off of it," Warren said as he slowly slipped his shirt off

I looked down at his toned chest and the thoughts of the clown immediately left my mind.

"Try not to stare too much," Warren said jokingly

I chuckled and rolled my eyes. Warren knew he had a great body and he sure wasn't afraid to show it off.

He cupped my cheek and kissed me softly. The kiss heated up a bit and started getting a bit more passionate. We stayed on the bed, making out for a little while until he broke the kiss.

"Better?"He asked as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear

"Much" I replied

I gave him a peck on the lips before I layed down. I scooted closer and rested my head on his chest as he began playing with my hair

"Warren?" I asked as soon as I was comfortable

"Hmmm?" He hummed lazily

"Do you think Peter's OK?" I asked almost hesitantly

He stiffened up a bit at the mention of his name but answered honestly, "No. If I'm being honest, Cassidy I don't think he'll ever really get over you"

"Oh," I sighed and cuddled a little closer to him "You know that I don't like him like that, right? He'll always be like a brother to me. That's it, nothing more."

"I know," Warren said and relaxed

"Plus, I have my eye on someone else" I added, a smile spreading on my face

"Oh really, would I happen to know him?" Warren teased

"I'd say you two are practically the same person"

We both laughed and a little and after a while, I found myself drifting off to sleep. Warren's touch was making me feel more relaxed. Maybe horror movies aren't so bad as long as I have him around to take my mind off them. Before I was out completely I heard him whisper

"Night, angel"
