Chapter 5

Sonic called over Tails so he could see how to send Classic Sonic back to his time. The problem was, this could take a while to figure out.

"Do you think another portal will just open?" Rouge asked, as she stared at Shadow and Classic Sonic.

"It's possible, sense he doesn't exactly belong in this time." Tails said, as he scribbled a few things in a notebook.

"How long until maybe another portal will open?" Sonic asked, as he sightly glared at Classic Sonic, who was sitting next to Shadow.

"It could take weeks, depending on how long he's been here." Tails said.

"He's been here for a week now." Shadow said, as he repositioned himself.

"Then maybe another week? I'm not for sure, but we might have to make a portal, and that could take weeks." Tails said, as he scratched to the back of his neck nervously.

"What would happen if he'd just stayed here?" Shadow asked.

"That could end the world." Tails said bluntly.

"Then we should definitely get him back to his time right away, right Tails?" Sonic said, as he continued glaring at Classic Sonic.

"Right..." Tails said, a little concerned about how Sonic was acting.

"I think we should take him back to our house, I'm sure Shadow needs a break from watching him." Sonic said, as he started to walk towards Classic Sonic.

Classic Sonic smirked, and hugged on to Shadows arm. Sonic glared, and a reached out to grab him.

"I don't mind if he stays, only if Tails doesn't need him." Shadow said, not realizing the glaring contest going on between the two.

Classic Sonic stuck his tongue out at Sonic, and ran away.

"Get back here you little brat!" Sonic yelled, as he chased after him.

"HEY NO RUNNING IN MY HOUSE." Shadow yelled louder, chasing the two hedgehogs.

Tails sighed, and put down his pencil.

"I think they just ran out the door." Rouge said, as she sat up from the couch.

"Yup, we better go catch up to them, if Eggman see them, he will attack." Tails said, as he rushed out the door.

"Right behind yeah!" Rouge yelled, as she flew out the door, not even shutting it.
