Jillian sighed before closing the door behind her.

She walked over towards Abhaya's bed before sitting down. She placed her hand against Abhaya'a cheek and began to caress it softly. "Sweethe—" Abhaya interrupted her with a cracked voice.

"We got into a big argument days before he died. I
told him that if he died...I wouldn't even cry at his funeral. I—I can't go."

Hot tears started to spill from the corners of her
eyes and roll down the sides of her face. Jill's heart broke at the sight of her daughter. She wished that
she could take all the pain away, but she couldn't.

"Abhaya, people say things they don't mean all the time when they're angry. Don't let that detour you from seeing Michael one last time. You will regret not going."Abhaya turned towards the right side of her body. Her back was now to her mom, and her hands were placed underneath her head. "Go without me."

Jillian sighed. She didn't want Abhaya to miss Michael's funeral, but she wasn't going to force
her. She knew how fragile her baby was.

The sound of the door opening and closing indicated that Jillian was now gone. Abhaya started to cry again. She began to think about Aadarshini and those tarot cards.Everything made sense now. Two tarot's of Love, One tarot of jealousy, and One tarot of death. All of those cards played out into real Life. Abhaya felt as though the dreams she had that turned into Life
were somehow connected to those tarots.

All this supernatural shit had her paranoid now.

She was scared to go to sleep because of the bad nightmares she was having. Every time she closed
her eyes, all she could think about was seeing Michael on that table with his chest cut open.

That's the only thing she saw, and she hated it.

Abhaya hated almost everything now. She hated her dad because he had been sleeping with the devil.

She hated Lily, who was now also dead.

Lily took her Life a few hours after she had shot Michael. Her body was found in her car in some
woods around Indiana. The police classified this
case as a murder-suicide. It startled the town.

Everyone was shocked about what had happened.

It was unexpected, it was sad, it was tragic.

A young man's Life was taken away out of hate.

All his dreams were gone. All his potential was gone. His family would never see him again.

His friends would never laugh with him again.

Michael was gone, and Abhaya couldn't grasp it yet.

She didn't want to.

Michael's funeral was now taking place, and
Abhaya was still in her room. She had been there
for hours just staring into space. She tried to block
out all the bad memories she shared with Michael
with the good ones. She thought of the time she had first laid eyes on Michael.

She had such a huge crush on him. It was around Valentine's Day, and she wrote Michael a cute little message that said, "will you be the mike to my Ike?"
