--Four Years Later--

“Good night sweetie.” I said to my daughter as I kissed her head. “I love you.” Since she was already asleep, I tucked her in and slowly closed the door after myself.

I sat down on the sofa with a laundry basket in front of me, oh the joys of parenthood. I turned on the TV and, of course, X-factor was on.

I missed the show. I missed the girls. I missed performing and touring.

But I wouldn’t trade anything for Sam, my little angel.

After I told the girls I was pregnant with Sam, they were… I don’t even know. Shocked because this was unexpected. Happy because I was having a baby. Sad because their life was changing, our life was changing.

Then the most painful thing happened… we had to split up, because of me. I couldn’t perform anymore.

We all promised to keep in touch and meet each other on a regular basis. I think the other girls have been meeting, I hope so. I’ve just been so busy with Sam and have had no time what so ever to meet them. You’re probably like, but Ally, you’re not working, how could you not have time?

Well, you try being a single parent with a three year old. Not the easiest thing. You have to balance your kid and the chores. And taking care of a kid is hard. You have to look after it almost all the time it’s awake and when it’s asleep, you either have to sleep or do the chores.

Either way, back to the girls. I’m pretty sure they all live in LA still. I moved back to Texas so my mom and dad could bond with their first and only grandchild.

Suddenly I heard the phone ringing. The number was unknown.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Yes, hello. Is this Ally Hernandez?” I heard a voice with a deep British accent on the other end.

“Yes, this is she.”

“Ally, it’s me Simon.”

“Simon? Why are you calling, I haven’t heard from you in four years.” I was so confused.

“There’s no beating around the bush… We want you girls back together. Reunite Fifth Harmony.”
