Unknown: Hey, we should leave. This place looks occupied.

Unknown: Yeah, we don't wanna scare them while their asleep.

Unknown: We're just looking for help, we'll leave once we talk with them.

Good they're friendly. You sneak down and use the shadows to your advantage. You get behind them holding the rifle down.

You: Hi.

One of them turns and draws a pistol on you. You raise your rifle just as fast.

You: What do you want?

Unknown: Easy, we just need some help.

You: With what?

Unknown: Hey man, put your pistol down. We don't want to scare him.

Unknown: Fine.

He lowers his pistol. You leave your rifle aimed for a second longer before lower it as well.

You: I have my group set up around the place. Try anything and you all be dead in a heartbeat.

This scares a few of them.

Unknown: It shouldn't come to that. I'm Lee, and we are just looking for a place to stay.

You: Ok Lee, how do I know I can trust you?

Lee: Here.

He reaches behind his back and you raise your rifle again.

Lee: Easy, I'm going to give you my gun.

He pulls it out and hands it to you. You take it and put the rifle down on the ground.

Lee: We've been struggling over in Macon.

You: Oh yeah?

Lee: We were looking to make the group bigger. How many of you are there?

You: You expect me to tell you that?

Lee: No, but you need to trust us.

You: I don't need to do anything.

Lee: How can we get you to trust us?

You: All your guns.

Lee: What?

You: Give me, all your guns.

Unknown: No way!

Lee: Louis.

Louis: Whatever.

They each slowly give you their guns. You put them behind you and put some distance between you and them just in case.

You: Your names.

You begin pointing at each of them.

Unknown: Violet.

Unknown: Omar.

Unknown: Ruby.

Unknown: Aasim.

You: I'm Y/N.

Louis: What about me?

You: It's Louis. Lee just said it.

Lee: Do you trust us now?

You: No, but you can earn it. All my people sleep on this side of the lot. You will sleep on that side.

Lee: Alright.

You: I'm keeping the guns.

Lee: Yeah, of course.

You: Now go.

You watch them all walk over and separate into rooms.

You: That was surprisingly easy.

You mutter under your breath as you walk to Clem's parent's room. You open the door to see them asleep.

You: Slept right through huh?

You shut the door and go to AJ's room.

You: AJ?

AJ: Dad?

He crawls out from under the bed and runs over to you. You bend down and meet his hug.

You: It's ok now.

AJ: Good.

You: I need to go check on everyone else, ok?

AJ: Don't leave.

You: I'll send Eri down.

AJ: Can I sleep with you and Mom?

You: I'm sorry buddy, but no. I'll need you to stay down here.

AJ: But why?

You: I have to make sure were safe through the night.

AJ: Alright.

You exit the room making sure it's safe when you shut the door. You walk up to your room and open the door. Eri is hugging Clementine who is sobbing into her shoulder. They flinch when it opens.

You: Now I remember asking you to go make sure everyone got out.

Clementine looks up at you. Her eyes are red, and her face is all wet. She runs over you and almost knocks you down as she wraps her arms around you.

You: Problem solved. You were worried for nothing.

Eri: What did they want?

You: Just a place to stay. Can you go stay with AJ now?

Eri begins to walk past you.

You: Oh and hey,

She turns around before exiting.

You: There are some guns laying down there, take them in with you.

Eri: Alright.

She shuts the door behind you.

You: I told you it was fine. You got way too worried for nothing.

Clem: You remember what happened a few days ago. Grant went out to keep some people from robbing us in the last place and they killed him.

You pull her over to the bed and sit down on it. She stays attached to you.

You: I'd rather just me die than all of us die.

Clem: I can't do this.

You: We have to.

Clem: I know.

You get her to sit up. You wipe some of the tears from her eyes.

You: I promised you a New Years kiss, didn't I?

You lean over and plant a kiss on her lips. There are tears on her lips, making it a little wetter than normal. You pull away.

Clem: No wait.

She grabs your shirt and pulls you back. You stay there for a few more seconds, pulling away again.

Clem: Y/N please.

You: What?

Clem: You know what.

She gets up and tries to push you over, but you grab her and spin her around onto her back. You pin her down. She begins to giggle.

You: Fine but let me block the door.

Clem: Yay.

You get up and push the old television set in front of it.

You: Shall we.

You didn't sleep much that night...
