Have you ever been alone in a crowd?
Has a whisper ever sounded loud?
What is it that you fear the most?
Life has often made me feel so lost.
There are things that I don't know,
There is much I don't want to show.
Sometimes life makes no sense,
Or perhaps it is I who is a little dense.
There are things that I fully understand,
Like feeling lonely when in a crowd I stand.
It is something that has bothered me,
If I tell you I hope you will agree.
Loneliness is not the same as being alone.
It is also when in white noise your whispers drown.
