I might say this but it's not true,
Holding a grudge isn't my thing,
It's not an emotion to which I cling.
If I willingly keep the hate inside,
I will suffer the most,
Becoming this parasite's host.
No matter how well deserving,
Some people aren't worth my time,
And hating the worthless will be a crime.
It's better to let the hard feelings go,
I won't dwell in the darkness of my thought,
I refuse to drown in the misery I bought.
I might be feeling bluer than blue,
But I understand the strength of my mind,
To myself, I'll always be kinder than kind.
