Chapter 32: The Hospital

Gabriel: The hospital? Why?

Beatrice: It's... it's about your son. 😞

Gabriel: (surprised) What? What happened?

Beatrice: We're gonna need you to come to the hospital and one of the doctors will tell you what's going on.

Gabriel: Okay. *He hangs up. * Why is Adrien in the hospital? 'Boy, you better not be doing anything stupid or foolish.' *He leaves his work room and heads downstairs.* Nathalie, get the car ready!

Nathalie: Why sir?

Gabriel: Adrien's in the hospital.

Nathalie: (gasped) What? Why is he there?

Gabriel: I don't know, the hospital called me and said he's at the hospital. Come on! *He, Nathalie, and Gorilla leave the house and drive off to the hospital. *

At the American Hospital of Paris, they quickly entered and stopped at the front desk.

Gabriel: Adrien Agreste! I'm his father, Gabriel Agreste. *Beatrice types on the computer. *

Beatrice: You'll have to wait for the doctor to come in and tell you what's going on.

Gabriel: Okay. *They sit down and wait for the doctor to come into the waiting room. * 'Adrien, I don't know what you did that caused you to be here, but please be okay. I already lost your mother, I don't want to lose you too.' *Soon, the doctor walked into the waiting room. *

Doctor Jones: Are you the Agreste's?

Gabriel: (walking up to Dr. Jones) Yes. How is my son?

Doctor Jones: I'm sorry. He died.

Gabriel: (shocked) What? What happened? How did he...

Doctor Jones: I'll have Officer Roger answer that. *Doctor Jones stepped aside and Officer Jones stepped up. *

Officer Jones: Mr. Agreste, your son was holding two people at gunpoint, kidnapped them, held them hostage, and at the end, he fell off a balcony and hit his head hard and pretty much bleed out on the sidewalk.

Gabriel: No!!! *Nathalie covered her mouth in shock and tears welted her eyes. *

Officer Roger: I'm very sorry. If he was alive, I would've arrested him. But... he didn't.

Gabriel: No, no, no, no, no, nooooooo!!!!

Doctor Jones: I'm sorry, sir. You're being pressed charges by the Dupain-Chengs and the Couffaines because of your son's actions.

Gabriel: Oh, god. Why?!!!! 😫😫😫😫 *He fell to his knees and started crying, Nathalie comforts him and Gabriel kept crying. *
