"stand by, he may be here any minute to get what he needs." the police chief ordered her men to surround the precious blue jewel building for tonight's the promise full moon to which he will appear.

the clock on the wall ticks so slow, it was the only thing that can be heared that night, everyone was holding their breathe for the biggest show in the investigation industry is about to begin any minute
"there he is!" one of the policemen shouted with his finger pointing on the balcony to where the moon can be seen as it shines so majestic "oh well.. you prepared visitors ms. y/n? , is this your way of welcoming our 8th time of crossing paths?" y/n shrug as she watch him sit without extra motions "tsh.. this will be the last don't worry, the moon will not be hiding behind the clouds till your behind bars, troy"
"well..- "he was laughing sarcastically, he gave claps cause of amusement, ridiculed by the chief's redundant words "you might wanna try harder this time ms y/n, for tonight i come for a special purpose"
he stood and suddenly waved his arm, the place was then covered with smoke and everybody was ripped, coughing and breathing "that damn punk!"
"he's gone!" one of her men said, he disappeared without a sound and the lights of the building turned off, the electricity might be down and it seemed to be a part of his play "spread and find him, nobody's gonna get out of this building without him in chains, understood?!"
"yes chief y/n!" as ordered, everybody started looking for him, y/n went to the upper floor on her own, the way to the rooftop cause everyone else was searching on the ground to the 3rd floor. "damn him.. i'm gonna kill him once i get a hold of his neck" she gritted her teeth as her emerald eyes sparkled from the moon's light. "psst.."
"who's there?" she turned and pointed the flashlight, seeking shadows on the dark corner "psst" another hiss was heared "i said who's there?!" her light started flickering and bad that it was wrong timing, she doesnt have her phone with her
"did you came looking for me here?" a deep voice came whispering behind her, softly near her ear that gave her goosebumps, she quickly turned and did a punch "-nice try, but hey, it wont hit me even an inch, stop wasting your time, you can't catch me singlehandedly"
"you really are the smartest thief, they're right.." she crossed her arms and glared "you're not gonna get off this building unchained so give up if i were you."
the thief gave a smirk and gestured her to come to him with the sweetest smile behind his broken mask "why don't we try and see if you're right" he then turned and stormed to the dark hallway, "hey! come back!" y/n came following as they both get to the rooftop, where it was windy and the moon shines so bright, she opened the door and saw him standing on the corner, without fear to which he might fall
"i told you, you can't escape this time so stop trying so hard!"
"you're right, i really can't." he was calm when he faced her "are you serious?" he nodded and gave his wrist out as a gesture of surrender, y/n smirked and took her handcuffs out, chaining the his wrists without a word "if you escape, i'll kill you this time, so don't you dare.. " for a few minutes they waited as the policemen got on the rooftop
"you did a good job catching the thief, ms y/n!" they applaused her "i really did, now you punk.. before i put you behind bars give me out the jewels you stole"
he smiled as he stare behind his half mask "chief, the jewels were all complete downstairs" she was in awe, hearing that no jewels was stolen
"i told you i came for a special purpose" he came giggling and standing right in front of her, everybody listened "i came to get the most precious jewel showered by the moon's light "what do you mean?" she was glaring at him
without a blink of an eye, he came leaning, and everybody was left in awestruck as this famous thief
pressed his sinful lips to the chief's
he kissed her and her eyes were left shut as she gently laid on his arm
nobody dared to give a shot as they watch the thief on his helicopter with the greatest act of thievery
"so stealing was the only way to get you " he smiled as he stare at her shut eyes.
