You felt bad for starting an argument with Arthur. Now since he's completely become a different individual...he loves to refer himself as Joker.

Your argument was based on the fact that he hardly comes home. He claims that he is always on some drastic life threatening mission. You respected that and just left it.

But that argument you had earlier was ringing through your eardrums. You heard the door unlock. You happily ran towards the hallway to find Joker coming in. You hugged him tight and buried your head into his chest.

"I promise I won't complain again" you smiled as you kissed him on his lips, he slowly parted away. He didn't wanna kiss you. You frowned

"Arthur?"

He backed away and fixed his blazer, he sighed

"Y/n I have to tell you something" he spoke as he held you closer, stroking your hair

"I will always be here for you but I just can't continue this relationship" he said

"W-Wait no Arthur please I said I won't complain again...I promise I won't please don't leave me I-I'm sorry if it was me" you teared up, hoping he was only messing with you

"Y/n it's not you it's me, I just can't feel the same about you anymore" he explained as he couldn't looking into your eyes

You wiped the tears that were streaming from your face

"A-Arthur please don't do this" you whispered as you held onto his wrist

Joker held your hand and removed it from his wrist

"Y/n I can't continue lying to you"

"H-how can you loose feelings for me that quickly Arthur? We dated for 2 years and W-W-What happened to all those promises, all those memories I-"

"I don't know I just don't feel anything between us" he interrupted

You backed away

"You dot feel anything between us? You were fucking me a few days ago Arthur!"

Joker looked down

You began breathing heavily and you tried to maintain your emotions

"You're seeing someone else" you cried

"Y/n I-"

"You're seeing someone else aren't you?"

"Y/n it's not like th-"

"Yes or no?"

"No y/n it's nothing like that but-"

You began laughing painfully yet quietly and gently squeezed your hands together

"I'm so fucking stupid...I actually thought you and I were ever something special" you laughed as tears rolled down your face

"NO! You never ever loved me this was all a fucking joke to you! You just used me!" You yelled

"No that's not true y/n you mean a lot to me I-"

"No I don't! I fucking loved you ever since we both started work together at ha has 2 years ago and now that you're ruling Gotham you're throwing me away like yesterday's trash"

You stormed out of Jokers apartment and just headed straight forward. You heard him call your name serval times but you just didn't wanna fucking talk to him at this point. You felt sick, you just couldn't be around him anymore at this point.
