I was lucky enough to be accepted to do work experience at Arkham State Hospital. Obviously it was part of my study; currently studying criminology...so this work experience would be beneficial. My manager showed me around the place and I was told about each patient but she decided to allow me to council another patient...Joker "You're kidding?" I choked as I heard his name "His not bad" she laughed at my reaction "He needs healing" she added I heard a lot about him...let me not even get started on the whole Murray Franklin Show. "o-o-okayyy" I nervously sighed "Don't be scared" she said as she allowed me to enter Jokers room. "Call him Arthur since that's his real name...don't call him Joker" she whispered in my ear, I nodded. I sat opposite the chair and came face to face with Joker- no Arthur. "Hello I'm y/n... y/l/n" I said as I held my hand out He slowly rose his eyes to my hand and looked into my eyes. His green eyes met my brown eyes. He smiled and shook my hand "So Arthur how are you feeling today?" "Well" he sighed "I'm feeling tired" he yawned as he slumped his head against the table causing me to back away. "Arthur wake up" I stated as I lightly shook him "Just kidding!" He yelled as my heart began pounding. I got scared. "You keep scaring me" I sighed "Oh sorry gorgeous" he simply said My eyes widened as I sat down in the seat. After 2 months of talking and getting to know him better me and Arthur became close...too close. This wasn't professional but it's better then what they could do. Arthur told me about some pretty intense stuff and I promised him that I wouldn't write these down. I respected that. I know I wasn't doing my job right...but you know. I promised him that I would never leave his side. And that I won't. I was in my office taking a quick nap until I felt a hand brush through my hair. I woke up to find Arthur. "Oh hi" I smiled "I just couldn't stop thinking about you" he smiled as he held my face with his hands I knew where this was going and in that moment he kissed me. We began kissing slowly then things started heating up. He slowly brushed his lips down my neck and began kissing my neck. He slowly pulled away as the door was being knocked on. "Who is it?" I asked "It's me y/n meet me tomorrow at 7:45pm" my manager stated "Okay" "I better get back to my room" Arthur sighed as he walked towards the exit. "See you" I smirked "See you" he smiled as he kissed me before he left. The next day in the evening I was called in by my manager. "Y/n" "Yes mam" "You're too clever" she said as a smile flashed her face "What are you talking about mam?" I asked in confusion "I'm pretty sure you were aware of the cameras in Arthur's room...they're really tiny" My eyes widened I actually didn't not know...but I didn't wanna loose this (soon to be) job. "Yeah ofcourse" I replied "You made Arthur think that you weren't jotting notes down about his secretive information which encouraged him to speak more" she smiled I felt really bad...I truly did not know myself...this wasn't fair. "Does Arthur know?" I asked "Oh yeah he knows" she said Shit I thought! He threw a massive tantrum and physically injured a lot of staff members. I ran towards his room and knocked on the door "Arthur open the door!"

I could hear him breathing heavily... "Arthur let me in and let me explain my self I honestly did not kn-" I was interrupted by him yelling my name and telling me to shut up. "You promised you'd never leave my side! But you did! You're just like the rest of them...cunning and selfish!" He screamed "Arthur I know how this looks but honestly believe me I had nothing to do with this" I cried "Y/n do me a favour" he said "Anything" I replied "Just go away...and never ever come back" he said "Arthur please" I cried "Leave or I'll make you leave" I shook my head in disbelief and walked away from his door.
